Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location can make visiting difficult but if you get the chance and you're interested if definitely pay this place a visit. One of the best Holocaust museums I've visited.

I was in this building for a two day conference and we had the opportunity to visit the exhibition. It's unusual in that it's a survivor led organisation, which means the stories are very personal. That makes for a very different perspective in the displays.
I have to say that there are some very innovative interpretation methods employed, and some of the simplest ones work really well (pictures frames, lightboxes).
The staff were really knowledgeable and helpful and I cannot recommend this exhibition enough.
I felt I'd learned something, and for someone who researches forced migration that's no mean feat.

With Holocaust Memorial Day being the 27th January there was plenty of TV and radio coverage. While listening to one of the radio programs we heard of the Holocaust Exhibition at Huddersfield University so we decided to call in. After eventually finding a local carpark we arrived at the exhibition. We were given a short introduction to the exhibition from a nice gentleman at the entrance. The exhibition deals with the build up of the Nazis from the 1930's to the war and aftermath. There are audio stories from survivors dealing with many differing aspects of the impact on them. A very informative and saddening exhibition but worth a visit.

Ok, so I'm a Holocaust historian and my partner was having her graduation today so I thought I'd pop in just before her registration opens. I want expecting much but was incredibly surprised. The exhibit was brilliant and informative for such a small place. The video was equally impressive- so much so I wish I could have a copy for my pupils. Such a shame it's hidden within the university. How many people have missed the opportunity for visiting such a gem of a museum focusing on such an important event.
Special thanks to the staff for spending their time chatting with me. Hopefully, I'll visit again when I have more time to properly appreciate the museum.

This is a small but compelling exhibition which treats the subject matter with genuine reverence and allows time to reflect and consider the ordeals suffered by so many. The material has been very well curated and the short but thought-provoking interviews have real impact.
Important, invaluable -and very poignant.

This museum is unique in its approach to this very sad subject. Contrary to other such museums it concentrates on the true stories of survivors and so presents a most personal account of events.

It is suitable for children of all ages though obviously teenagers will derive the most benefit.

It is well presented using modern graphics which are easy to understand.

The visitor can spend as long or as little as he wishes and still derive a lot of knowledge.

I thoroughly recommend a visit.
