A great local resource with a range of auditoria and good hospitality and circulation areas. The programme is varied and supports both professional and amateur performances. Recently saw excellent Dick and Lottie performance of Sisterly Feelings

This place is an absolutely excellent theatre as it isn't too big so feels quite cosy and intimate, everywhere (including the toilets) was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, we went to see a bit of Gilbert and...More

Lovely theatre, not the best I've been to, but I actually like that it's quite small and not huge like some I've been to.

We love this theatre - we've been to several shows and the pantomimes are excellent. Lots of people don't seem to realise where it is but it's a gem! Well worth a visit if you're in Huddersfield!

The LBT, built in 1819 as a Methodist chapel, was converted into a theatre in the 1990s. The alteration was done really well, with good sight lines and comfortable seats throughout the house. It has a varied programme and is a pleasure to visit.

Drove 50 miles to see one of our favourite comics - Jonathan Pie - perform here. Incredible building - an ex-Wesleyan chapel - with quirky seating that enables a good view of the stage wherever you sit. Shown to our seats via the lift by...More

I'm not really sure how we have lived here for nine years and this is my first time visiting this great theatre. I went with my two young kids going on the bus and the theatre is about a 10 minute walk (with little ones...More

Nice little theatre with BIG atmosphere. Friendly staff and great seating. We saw the production of Cinderella, and it was genuinely one of the best I've seen. Superb acting and atmosphere. Even the icecreams at the interval were reasonably priced. Looking forwards to next year's...More
