We love the creative quarter with its little unique shops and restaurants! We visit Folkestone about once a year and every time, we visit the creative quartertosee what’s new. The individual shop owners are warm and friendly. They have unique wares and talents!

This is fast becoming the jewel in Folkestone's uneven crown. The Old High Street, with it's old cobbles, offers a lovely mix of independent shops, cafes, eateries. Tontine Street looks smarter and includes the Quarterhouse, and The Workshop (housing media and other small companies). Let's...More

An excellent street for diving into quirky galleries and lovely cafes and restaurants. A must see in Folkestone. Leads down to the harbour arm.

The creative quarter is largely centred around Folkestone’s old high street. I can remember back almost 40 years ago when it was a mix of arcades and seaside shops selling inflatables/ buckets and spades and it lost it’s identify when these types of shops packed...More

The old high street has many unique shops with lots to offer. There are also cafes, bars and restaurants the Christmas lights are worth seeing too.

I love the Old High St. You can wander down one side past some lovely things. Then end up at the Harbour and wander up the other side. Lots of eateries
