We had a quite a pleasant walk in the Bishop's Glen restricting ourselves mainly to walking around the lake although there were lots of paths leading to who knows where that could have been explored if the mood had taken us.

Well worth the visit, lovely walk, bit steep in places but well worth the climb. Lovely woodland walk, not muddy as it is a gravel track most of the way and steps. The damn and so quiet and tranquil with woodland walks and waterfalls.

An easy walk with beautiful views. We took a little picnic and stopped at the fishery to enjoy the swans swimming past (pic attached) Keep an eye out for red squirrels we didn't see the sign until we were at the other end!!
