For the most people very friendly especially lady who we first spoke to and pointed out some of the early holes. Also catering and bar lady. But…. guy cutting tees edges and greens omg followed us for a few holes and never once when we were about to play or putt did he shut off the noisy machine or even acknowledge we were there. Bad mannered and inconsiderate. The course itself not for me but lovely views and for the most well kept apart from some greens.

Played here today with my golfing buddies.stunning views on a golf which is a credit to the Green staff .Course in great condition with lovely true greens . A warm welcome with the guys who run the food and bar. We had rolls and coffee before going out and a 2 course meal when finished the golf which were both excellent. We are all in ours seventies so we hired buggies .Full credit to those who use trollies or carry clubs as a bit hilly in places . Overall a great day out on a beautiful course with amazing views coupled with a warm welcome from the 2 lads who run the food and bar.

We booked to play on 24th September. Easy online booking with no money taken until the day you play! Unfortunately is was raining heavily on the day but we were offered various playing options (7 holes, 10 holes or 18) by the kind lady behind the bar. All options at a different price with no money taken until we have finished. Most clubs would have taken the 18 hole fee and left you to it but not at D&B! We only played 7 but will be back to play on another dry day. Great customer service from a club that deserves a visit and support.

This golf club is built on a hill and the last 3 holes are all up hill,I do not mean a little hill but very steep .Generally the course is wet so is heavy. It is in 2 halfs the first 7 holes end at the Club House and are the best holes on the course. I would give it a miss. There are much better courses in the area.

Whilst this is out of character to the normally positive feedback that we receive, the staff at the Club take all comments personally, as we pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming golf club.
The course has been in excellent condition this year and has been described as one of the best looking in the area.
I notice that you visited the course in June 2013, and wondered if you would contact the club to advise us of the day you visited.
The course has only been closed on one occasion this year and that was for 3 hours on Sunday 27th July following "monsoon" rain during the early morning. However, I personally inspected the whole course prior to re-opening it, and found there to be no standing water or "heavy" conditions.
Parts of the course have resembled a "links" course recently, and the green staff are unsure what you mean by "heavy", unless you are talking about carrying your golf bag up, what we believe to be, "a gradual increase in height, offering fantastic views" slope of the last three holes.

Had lunch here with my parents one Saturday, and as long as you are not buying alcohol, lunch is not an issue, but the food was really nice,
I believe the catering for the club is run by a couple called Carol and Roy Smith, snd they are doing a fantastic job there, food is fresh and tasty, and Carol as well as the other staff are only too happy to please and look after you.
The burger and king prawn wrap are my favourites, really really nice

Played a few courses this year , and Dunkeld and Birnam was in the best condition of them all, along with the food in the clubhouse and the friendly service it was a very pleasent experiance.

Very interesting and challenging course, many different holes.
Lovely clubhouse with friendly staff. The food is great too.

Played this course in July 2014. The course was in great condition. Numerous blind shots with various uphill and downhill holes make this course challenging. Great views around the course and friendly staff.
