Had the most wonderful experience at County Clays today Clay Pigeon Shooting. Such a fun activity. Excellent tuition by Clark and Steve, who gave clear instructions, were very professional and friendly and put us all at ease as it was our first time clay shooting. If you are looking for something different to do in Dunkeld, I would highly recommend it.

We took seven teenage girls to County Clays for our daughter’s birthday and they had a blast! Lyndsay had kindly organised cake and hot chocolate for the girls before they went out. Will was a fabulous host and Bill an amazing instructor. He put the girls at ease and everyone managed to shoot some clays. We honestly couldn’t recommend County Clays more!

As part of wife's birthday present, she was unsure what to expect, Bill the instructor put her at total ease, he was very informative and had a great sense of humour and was very encouraging for our first time. the facilities were amazing in the Perthshire surrounded by spring birds and deer. the facilities suit both beginner and experienced shooter alike. would recommend to anyone looking for a different new experience. Can also be competitive with your party if you wish.

Treated my wife to this excellent activity, which she had never done before. A wonderful venue in a stunning setting! Our instructor Bruce was FANTASTIC and really made the morning. As recommended by Clark an exhilarating start to the day, which really gets the heart pumping and brain cells into gear! THANKS very much!

Having been away from shooting for more than 25 years I booked a 32 shot Beginner Clay lesson. A very warm welcome from William (and later Clark & Steve) was a great start to the day. I was given a thorough run through everything required when starting from scratch, including safety, gun fitting, dominant eye info. I found Clark and Steve to be extremely friendly, experienced and knowledgeable instructors and they had me hitting clays immediately. The facility is exceptional and in immaculate condition. If you are looking for a fun day out, an introduction to shooting or to further advance your skills, I would thoroughly recommend County Clays as the best place to go. A superb venue in every sense.

Relatively new to shooting my wife and myself decided to get some lessons. our instructor Steve was superb. Patient, calm, encouraging and brilliant instruction. Over a range of different disciplines ( including Pheasant flight and jumping Teal) we both managed over 50% hit rate. Only possible due to Steve. Very safe and lots of fun. What a great day we had.

A fantastic morning spent with Clark, who was a delightful knowledgeable and interesting instructor with plenty of patience and obviously highly experienced. Everything about the visit was very enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended-will be back in the very near future.

Hamish made the Archery and Air Rifle a fun competition. Dean made the Clay shooting not only fun but also in a very short time was able to increase not only our understanding of the physics of the sport but also in a very gentle and professional way brought our skill level up quite a bit, brought us from easier traps to the far more challenging rabbits, grouse and pheasants and enthused us to delve deeper in to the sport back at home. When back in Scotland would definitely come back, without a doubt.

Another fantastic day being hosted here by Clark, Bruce and the team. It’s by far the best place to shoot sports clays in the country. Everyone (all 14 of us!) had a wonderful morning. One of new shooters from out last visit was one of the top shots this time which tells you all you need to know.

A thoroughly enjoyable morning - we booked 1hr 30 to do Archery and Air Rifle shooting (45mins for each), highly recommend this! Thanks to Charlie our excellent instructor who was patient and informative, we both improved over the session and i particularly felt at ease as a total archery beginner. Would come back and do it again!
