The museum was well laid out , with plenty of information on Chepstow's past and present industries. The museum itself had had many uses, one of which was as a hospital. On the stairs I could still smell the familiar hospital aromas of my youth!!

The museum is opposite Chepstow Castle and admission is free, it comprises two floors and is full of lots of exhibits and information about the history of Chepstow. There are a couple of films to watch and a room set aside to entertain the kids.
