Very enjoyable walk through varied landscape -riverside, woodland, boreens with lovely old hedgerows, mountain scenery - Knockmealdowns, Comeraghs, Galtees. Quite flat, Ardfinnan by the river is a nice stop and Cahir town has castle, Swiss cottage if one wanted to make a longer stop.

This was a great walk with a mixture of gardens, through Mellary monastery, open mountain, forestry track and finishing on some quiet roads.
