Visiting with friends and tyhis remains a stunning piece of engineering. A cafe is on site along with, below the building a local spa, The Devonshire Spa with all the facilities and treatments that you would expect.

We only popped in here due to reading about it on trip Advisor but were stunned once inside. Walk in to the very centre & talk. The sensation is amazing. But once you walk out of the central area (see photo) you no longer hear...More

I found out about the Dome from a local gentleman, he was extolling the beauty and history of the building. I don’t think many people realise that the Dome is open the general public. On the first visit I was really impressed with the beauty...More

Such a beautiful building with an interesting history. Free to go into the dome area, has a coffee/food area with good prices. Stand in the middle and your voice will echo all round the dome!

Loved the university of Derby's students' iPad tour of the Dome and revelled in its history. What a special building! Great way to spend an hour!

Our visit was based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Stunning location under the Devonshire Dome. There is also a cheap snack bar which is worth a visit.

We stopped by the Dome while seeing the sites in Buxton, and when you stand at the center you can whisper and it sounds all the way around the dome. The acoustics were so very cool. The structure is something to see.
