Set in the heart of Essex, Festival Wakeboard and Aqua Park has rapidly grown into a superior wakeboarding park in Basildon. Enjoy lots of fun and have a great day out on the water either Kneeboarding, Wakeboarding, or exploring our brand new Aqua Park. Complete newbie to wakeboarding? Don't worry with our Beginners cable with our 1-2-1 tuition you can become a pro in no time! Great fun for big groups for team building/corporate days /stag/hen parties/end-of-season celebrations and schools. Fancy a cuppa while watching the little ones on the Aqua Park, or even a spot of lunch... look no further as our onsite cafe can do just that.

Great welcome when we arrived and all staff very friendly and helpful. My 87 year old Mum won tickets in an auction and we took grandchildren. There are steps up and down viewing areas but helpful staff made this easier for her. Everything we needed for good day out. Small cafe with good choices and great service. Facilities are not fancy but were clean and tidy - good family feeling. Will take the children again - shame I don't like water !!!

Wonderful surprise to stumble upon this place! Bill was extremely friendly, professional, and patient with our two children (8.5 and 10) who had never tried wakeboarding before and were a little anxious. They ended up having a blast and Bill was cheering for them and not counting their time! Thank you Bill, you made their day!

Lots of fun and half the price of lower quality experience that Center Parcs offer. The wakeboarding also looked great and we hope to try that in the future.

Three 11yr old boys had the water park to themselves for an hour and had a great time! We think the weather had put others off - but we braved it and it was well worth it.
The staff are super helpful, with a special shout out to the young man supervising them on the obstacle course for being so enthusiastic and friendly.
It’s also fun to watch the wake boarders, the beginners and the show off pros!
We’ll definitely be back before the end of the summers hols.

Went to festival wake park today as we were passing by the area and are keen wakeboarders. We were made to feel very welcome and the cable was great with a good range of features. Shame we don’t live close but would highly recommend the park to anyone nearby or thinking about wakeboarding for the first time. Bill and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Excellent little place hidden away in Basildon. I had booked a party for my daughters 13th for 8 children using the aqua park facilities but only 3 turned up on the day and the company gave me a full refund for this even after such short notice.Customer service from all the staff was excellent and they went above and beyond and my daughter and her friends really enjoyed themselves. I will be coming back and thoroughly recommend, such fun.

Fantastic facility...staff reception courtesy and very helpful...sound information and details of the booking, training very professional, simple instructions and guidance. Thoroughly enjoyed the day especially the food at the cabin!

Would just like to say a big thankyou to the team at festival leisure.
The young lads who took our session were awesome and gave really good tips to us to make the best use of the session and more importantly have the most fun!
Everyone had a brilliant time and we are all keen to return again at some point to try out some of the skills we picked up in the session.

Great place! The staff are so friendly and welcoming! It was our first time there wakeboarding and we felt at home.
Highly recommend Festival Wakeboard Park for anyone who is new at wakeboarding. They also do women's only class on a Sunday morning, which is the one I went to, and I absolutely loved it :)

Are dogs allowed, on leads, on the shore/grass picnic area?

Sorry. No idea. At the time of my visit there were no dogs. Give them a call they are very helpfully.
Does my 6 year old son need an adult to do the aqua park or will he be ok to do it with his 12 year old brother and friends?

Hello, anyone aged between 6-8 will need to have an adult on with them. Anyone 9+ will need to have an adult on site at all times. I hope this helps :)

Hello, for up to date pricing and opening times please visit our website. But a day pass for the main cable with all kit is £79.00 plus £5 deposit for a wristband. If the wristband is returned then you will receive £4 back.
