Enjoyable but slight concern

Took my near 4 year old, he loved it, only issue i had is children are able to lift the net and get in and out while on top of the play area, i was seated downstairs and the upstairs is out of veiw so i am worried young children will follow the older children and escape from the indoor play area.

Great place, poor food options

The venue itself and the activities (a huge climbing area, dodgems, pretend play & a merry go round) were really good and my 3 year old was having such a fab time, we stayed 6 hours!

On the downside, the bags of toys given out to use in the pretend play areas didn’t correspond at all, which seemed a bit odd.. for example the pretend play areas were a supermarket, a vet, a fire station, a garage and a pizza parlour and yet the toys we were given were a couple of bits of plastic fruit, a jug, a fish slice & a washing up brush. So they couldn’t really be used in the pretend play. There was also a dressing up area, but no outfits, presumeable due to Covid, which is fair enough.

However most disappointing was the food available from the restaurant. As a coeliac, I have to eat gluten free or else I’m severely ill and I’m used to there being little choice, so I checked online before we went and saw jacket potatoes on the menu, which I planned to have. But when we went to get lunch, they had no jackets, and I was told the only gluten free options were gluten free chicken nuggets, gluten free pasta or a beef burger patty (but without a bun or chips As they aren’t gluten free). I chose the pasta, and luckily went back to triple check it was gluten free as the wording on the receipt made me doubt it, only to find out it wasn’t gluten free at all. If I’d eaten gluten containing pasta, I would have been so ill, I’d have been unable to get myself and my 3 year old son home! Terrible misinformation from the staff. When the Manager double checked their allergy folder, all I could have was a plain beef burger patty - not exactly an exciting or filling lunch! Given I had gone with my 3 year old who was having a fab time, we couldn’t really leave, so my lunch ended up being a bag of Skips crisps and a Mrs Crimbles macaroon! They also didn’t have carrot or cucumber to go with my sons lunch and didn’t have skimmed milk for skinny coffee either. Apparantly they usually have these things?!

We would go back as my son loved it, but I certainly wouldn’t plan to have lunch there next time.

Pre-Covid I was tasked with the responsibility of looking into options for customers with dietary requirements that we could source from our suppliers and add to the menu. As we re-opened there were certain items that our supplies couldn’t offer so we made the decision to reduce the menu offering. I apologise that you weren’t able to have something of your choice form the menu. I have spoken to our Food and Beverage Team Leader and asked them to review and update the allergens folder so there is no miscommunication on what products we offer. As soon business picks up I will look to re-introducing the original menu offering with the additional products for customers with dietary requirements. As a goodwill gesture we would like to offer you a free return visit for you and your son with a complimentary meal voucher. Please contact us via email to arrange this. Our Food and Beverage Team Leader will have a completed allergen folder for you to see and hopefully you will have more of an enjoyable visit.

Normally pre covid I would be rating this soft play 5 stars. 

I won't be returning after today.

I called before booking to check what safety measures were in place.  The man I spoke to on the phone filled me with confidence. He explained everyone has a temperature check on the front door, on entry you won't be allowed in until you sanitize your hands.  He said each child is handed a bag of pre sanitized toys at the entrance to use in the play areas.   There is sanitizer stations around everywhere and everytime you move to a different facility you must sanitize your hands.  He said the entrance to the soft play is manned so it ensured people are following the rules.  He explained the equipment is hosed down with special spraying units and the rides etc are wiped between each use.

All sounded so good. So controlled. They are doing what they can to make it as safe as possible. 

Unfortunately the procedures were in place but no one was following them.  I wish I had just asked for a refund and left.

Upon entering there was a family in front of us. With 2 adults and 2 children from seperate households.  The receptionist explained they would need temperature checks. The young boy threw himself on the floor and had a instant crying tantrum about having his temperature taken.  The mum attempted for a few seconds to take his temperature.  After a few seconds the receptionist handed the Mum the thermonitor and said here you can do it.  She handed the device over to the Mum.  The mother of the child then pointed it at the back of the boys head who was lying face down on the floor and handed it back saying "it's fine".  They were then permitted entry.  Not only has the receptionist now cross contaminated with the customer she has also permitted a child to enter who has clearly not had his temperature taken.  

She called us over and we followed the instructions. Once inside we realised the receptionist hadn't asked us to sanitize our hands.  The receptionist hadn't asked the people in front of us or the people behind us to either.  We were all let into the building without sanitizing our hands we have now all touched lockers, chairs, tables and doors etc.  We wasn't handed a bag of toys or told about  the use of facemasks whilst on the climbing equipment. I thought its ok there is someone sitting at the entrance to the soft play ensuring everyone has sanitised their hands there. We walked to the entry and the person controlling the enterance left her position. They did not re-man this position during our whole visit. So now there is around 20 guests in a high touch area around children who have not all been temperature checked, had cross contamination and have not sanitized their hands.  

We saw signs around the soft play explaining the use of masks at this point we went and got our masks to wear.

We allowed my daughter to stay which I now bitterly regret.  I went to complain to a manager who was a young girl.  She offered me "a drink" and came across as incredibly disinterested in the issues.  The manager blamed the issues on a lack of staffing. However the manager and 2 other members of staff were stood in the kitchen chatting as I approached and contunued to stay there throughout my visit.  The  manager just said I'm sorry that shouldn't of happened I'll speak to the receptionist.  The manager then did one announcement on the system reminding guests to sanitize their hands.  This was the only announcement made during a 4-5 hour period.  To be honest I felt like she saw me as an irritant. I explained I don't feel comfortable to which she just said, well what would you like me to do.  At this point we had already been inside the soft play.  To be honest I was disappointed in the lack of care and customer service.  She walked off before I had finished and I called after her to say we also were not given our sanitised bag of toys for my daughter to play with upstairs.  She went and got us the bag.

After this we went to the rides. The cars were being wiped between each use which was good.  However none of the carasel rides were wiped at all.  We waited and when it was our turn I asked the assistant aren't you going to sanitize the ride? She answered only if you want me to. I answered yes but the operator didn't hear and my daughter just got on and touched the handles.  The operator started the ride.  I could have taken my daughter back out but once she has already touched it I thought it best to just make sure I sanitize her hands myself after her turn. Isn't your policy to wipe between each use?  It's not about what individual people want or feel is necessary.  If you have done a risk assessment and have decided on this action to control the virus this should be done each time without question regardless if someone else says "it's ok". 

During our visit they closed the soft play to do the "deep clean".  The "deep clean" was a 1/4 filled spray bottle and a cloth for the entire soft play. Not quite the disinfectant mist I expected would be used when we called.

I literally lost sleep last night.  I am disappointed that a company that was shut for so long, had so much time to prepare failed us in so many ways making things safe for our visit and didn't uphold 1 promise on safety.  Also didn't seem concerned at all when these issues were brought to the managers attention.

There is also only 1 entrance and exit to the soft play meaning you have to constantly pass people coming in and out. Parents had sat around the enterance. Inside the soft play meaning it was impossible to distance. The hand sanitizer stations on the upper floor are far too high for children to reach. I would squirt some on my own hands and by the time I got it to my daughters hands the sanitizer had dried out.  Children need to sanitize often especially in high touch areas. 

From the moment we stepped in the door your own policies were not followed.  Walking around the area I could see staff members glance my way and on many occasions I walked past the manager who said nothing to me.  She wasn't interested in the slightest about my experience and just felt like she wanted to get away from me.  She didn't check if things were better or how I was feeling throughout our visit.  Not all staff had face masks either which became mandatory on Thursday - the day of our visit.

Honestly this soft play has gone from 10 to minus 100.  

I have also emailed the above over 2 weeks ago. I had an initial reply saying this will be investigated. Since then I still have had no reply. I feel really let down with the service.

This has been investigated and you have received a reply to your email. Our manager, James, investigated what went on with the team that were in on the day of your visit. I cannot express the amount of hard work that was spent putting into place and adapting existing procedures to make our stores safe with the same element of fun. All team members have sat online training, watched videos on new procedures and had face to face time with management reading through the new policies, asking questions and signing them off. Our managers have been trained to walk round and support the implementation of these new procedures and know the standards we are working to everyday. In regards to mask wearing we can only politely remind customers and cannot ask for proof should we be informed they are medically exempt. We do monitor this very closely and in an ever changing world we try to adapt and change as quickly as possible to meet new recommendations. Since your last visit we have introduced some updates to our mask wearing policy and customers who are not exempt will now not be allowed to use any of the attractions unless their mask is on. Managers will be continuing to sweep the floor and remind any customers who are not wearing a mask in-between activities to do so. I can only assure you that this is being dealt with in store and thank you for your feedback.

Awful customer service do not book parties here

Absolutely awful customer service! I called before booking my sons birthday party as I was hesitant with covid 19. I was told that if the government placed restrictions I would be refunded. I therefore went a head and booked and paid over £100 deposit. I paid extra for a host purely to get the children up dancing at the end.
The following week the rules changed to 6 people to a table by the government. I called 360 who said there would now be no disco, no dancing, Im not allowed to bring the cake I've had especially made. The children can't sit together, we must all be on tables of 6 and can not go near our guests tables. I has been told I still have to pay for the 'host' which has now changed to a 'supervisor' who can not actually do anything apart from supervisor that we don't go near others tables.
I'm really not happy with all these changes and have asked for a refund to which Kailey in head office has told me I am not entitled to. Apparently she feels offering the children a balloon on a stick is adequate compensation.

I have spoken to citizens advice who have informed me that 360 are in breach of contract and unless they give me the exact party I have booked then they legally ar required to refund me. I have sent head office numerous emails retirating this to which they are ignoring. I spoke to kailey yesterday and asked for a reply.. Still no response.
I will not be booking a party here again and will be warning all the school parents of the appalling treatment of 360.

A great morning!

Booked the first slot on a weekday hoping it would be quiet for our first visit back after reopening and it was. The slots you prebook are 2 hours but you can now stay for longer if it’s quiet. All the toys from the role play section upstairs are gone but you get a personal party bag full of assorted plastic toys that you return at the end for cleaning. This was a big hit! We had a great time. The staff are friendly and were really on top of the new procedures and cleaning. The only bad thing was my son managed to sit on some fox poo in the outdoor sandpit!! Thankfully I had spare clothes and wipes to clean him up. The manager raked the area to make sure there was no more so seems we were just unlucky but will definitely check carefully myself if he wants to play in there again. Was great to be able to return and play safely so many thanks to the team!

Over Priced! Not Enough Time & Some Not So Nice Staffs!

Great venue and enough to do for kids has an upstairs and downstairs part which is really good :)

I specifically chose this venue because it had the boats some others don't so I travelled an hour and half just for the boat and before booking I asked if it was in place and able to use as I know it's covid and everywhere has kids of rules & changes but I was told it is in use also knowing someone who went just days before...
Got there asked where it was and was directed to it so went there it being my first time no one was there but doors were opened so just assumed people do this at their own risks so went ahead and got in started rowing then lady comes in telling us we shouldn't be there and to get out I asked why and explained we were directed here and how we travelled so far just for this and she said well we are short staffed that's why it's not opened then she went on and said ok let me get a staff to come in a male staff comes in repeated what she said how we must not be in there and that we must get out as no staff even tho he could have helped but we listened and got out... was not happy after travelling very far and confirming that it's in use before coming then to come and be told otherwise.. just the way they dealt with us was not nice..

The reception staff young girl was very sweet and lovely and helpful and also young girl who was on the cars control a d Mary go round they were all sweet too so bless them.

The slot times are not worth the money it goes so quick also adults having to pay what should be charged for kids I mean let's be real most of us just sit and watch so why are we having to pay entry is beyond me. Kids prices are overly priced!!

Was nice but wouldn't do that travel again and pay that price to come especially if you have loads of kids. I think we were lucky we actually got use of the facilities only cz it was COVID so limited people I couldn't imagine it on a normal day it must be rammed packed and for 2hr slot by the time you wait to play the time is up!!

Thank you for your review, we will pass your feedback on to the centre team. We are working with less staff than usual to allow for safe social distancing so manned attractions are not always available at all times. We are now in our second stage of opening and are now able to let people stay and play for longer so the time slots aren't as rushed. We hope you consider coming back to 360 Play now that we are more familiar with this new way of operating.

I visited today and was very disappointed I had pre booked a slot 12.00 2.30 it was 12.30 before I gained entry, I queued for a further 30mins for lunch for my grandchildren, food took 24 mins to arrive so this was now 2.05, 360 then expected lunch to be eaten and for us to vacate the premises for 2.30, considering they charged full price for limited facilities I was not impressed

This was my second visit to 360! And I really enjoyed it. Kids in my company had a ball and of course didn’t want to leave. So much to do!
I was disappointment when I went upstairs. There was no letters to post in the post box, no fire fighter dress up, no animals in the pet store or equipment and no tools in the area where the car is. In the supermarket, the food was all over the floor and when I say all over the floor, I mean every single piece of food(clearly parents not supervising their children) I spent about 20 mins putting the food all back and sorting the pizza area as it was left in an absolute state. This was an event day; and I know staff were busy, but someone should of been on duties at tidying areas. I searched the place for the stuff missing as my son was desperate to be a fire fighter and a vet. But it was no where to be seen. I was upstairs for an hour and a half. And not once did a member of staff come to do a bit of sorting out. Never the less the place has lots to do, your kids will have a ball! Huge soft play area, which is amazing for adults too as you can stand up, arts and crafts area, bumper cars, carousel and lots more! Staff are really pleasant and coffee is lovely. Price for an adult and a 3 year old is around £14/15. I find this expensive but you do get a lot for your money and you can stay for as long as you like.

There are less toys in circulation at the moment due to our enhanced cleaning schedule and these items being cleaned on rotation. To help make your visit more affordable you can use Tesco Clubcard vouchers towards entry or visit for half price when you arrive at the weekend before 10am.

Where do I start
No disabled policy or no one knows what it is in place
The management made my autistic little girl very very distressed today
Absolutely no idea about autism or autistic people
I think this needs to change and quick because it is so unfair on people with autism

Thank you for reviewing your visit with us. As explained to you when you arrived yesterday, we do have a disabled policy in place which allows a nominated person to stand in the queue until space becomes available for you to enter. This was explained to you by the centre manager and myself, the operations director. We fully understand the challenges of bringing SEN children to our facility and do our best to support families. We host a monthly SEN event as we know peak times are not always suitable for children with additional needs. Unfortunately the behaviour and language displayed by the adults in your party was unacceptable on so many levels, this resulting in us having to ask you to leave the premises involving site security and the police who issued you an order to not attend our premises. As a company we have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to threatening language and behaviour towards our staff and for the safety and comfort of our guests. We always try to resolve any situation amicably but on this occasion you were aggressive and unreasonable towards our staff and the authorities. The other guests attending praised our staff for their handling of this situation.

Horrendous booking and queue system

I registered on line and booked advance tickets for 3 children aged 2,3 and 9 and two adults at a cost of £35.

We drove over (we do not live locally) and arrived at 10.30 to find a massive queue outside (parents and children all waiting in the cold) I assumed this queue was for people who had not bought advance tickets so walked into the centre only to be told I had to queue regardless of if I had pre booked advance tickets. I wasn’t impressed but duly joined the queue. I spoke to people queuing and most were on the day walk ins and had not orebooked.

After about 20 minutes and not having moved very far a member of staff came out and told us they were at capacity and it was now one in one out! It was now almost 11am the centre only opened at 10am so how long was it going to take for the 5 of us to get in, how many people were going to come out having only been in the centre for such a short time? I had 3 freezing kids, who were getting very agitated not being able to go in to play when we had made a big thing about the fun they were going to have.

I went back in to the centre desk and asked to speak to a manager, he claimed the member of staff should not have told us it was one in one out and we would get in but couldn’t say how long it may take! He suggested we could come back another day, clearly he has no idea of the logistics involved in getting 3 children out and the disappointment involved (the three children are my grandchildren and id collected them from three different locations). I challenged him on why I ordered in advance a day ticket and then could not get access but it all seemed pointless as he could not answer my questions. I therefore requested a refund which he did and left.

What is the point of buying advance tickets if you have to queue with everyone who has not registered and pre booked and you are not guaranteed entry? The reason I booked was because we were travelling a distance and wanted to be sure we would get in.

Why are there not two separate queues one for on the day purchases and one for advance bookings?

In school holidays why do you not do timed slots?

I am not at all impressed and my grandchildren were so disappointed

Thank you for your review. As stated online, advance tickets are discounted and do not offer fast track entry but you will be able to visit. "Online tickets do not guarantee fast track entry. Entry is based on a first come first served basis and once capacity has been reached a 'one-in, one-out' system operates. Early entry is advisable during peak periods." Like every other indoor attraction this is a peak time to visit and you will find a wait to enter any leisure facility this week. During this half term week, everyone who has bought tickets has been able to access the centre.
