    Truly a day out
Well, many will be put off by the fact it’s a stately home now run by a luxury interior design brand but… we only found it to be extraordinarily welcoming and equipped with loads to do and enjoy. We had lunch on a hot Saturday at the Loggia, the outdoor pizza terrace. We felt we could be in Italy with the view of the grounds and the exceptional truffle pizza. After a two hour walk around the house, library and the grounds, we stopped for afternoon tea at the tea salon for the sunset. It was perfect. Every staff members we met was so kind and welcoming, genuinely keen to make our visit enjoyable!

    Wow!
Came here with 2 girlfriends and was truly bowled over by the whole experience. From start to finish, every member of staff we met was polite and friendly. The service was exceptional. The house is beautiful in its own right, the views are stunning and every room is exquisitely styled. Everything about the interior design is awesome. We had lunch in the orangerie which was exceptional - but not cheap! We would like to have time to try out the wine bar and the juicery. We will be back in the summer to try the very inviting outside loggia. Highly recommend - it’s mire of a day out than just lunch!

Fabulous Experience from Start to Finish!
Well we finally made it, drove past many times and said we must go, so we did, on a beautiful crisp cold sunny day. The whole experience from start to finish bowls you over. Parked in the car park, round the back of the house, quite a walk to the house but track is barked and lite if dark. You can park at the front, round the side, I believe. Either have your car valet parked or, I am sure, you can drive round yourself. Best here if weather not good. We ate in the Orangery, with coffee which was strong and nice, plus pot of hot water to top up!!!! and smoked salmon baguette, which was lovely, not that expensive really for the location and service. Fab table for 2 in the window overlooking the deer park, with sun streaming through the windows!! The room settings are fabulous, if you have the rooms to accommodate, but can buy anything separate. All in my favourite colours brown and beige, but you can have anything in any colour!!! Staff are really lovely and very pleasant. Will definitely return in the summer, if not before, with family for the outside loggia and pizzas. They are also in progress of doing a Conservatory and American Bistro.

    A definite bucket list tick
Browsing RH England at Aynhoe Park. Watching the staff in the juice room work was fascinating. Must admit food and drinks were fantastic. We just walked in and the attention to detail from everyone is incredible. Highly recommend! Restoration Hardware is the first venture in England. We expected the furniture to be very expensive, but, we’re pleasantly surprised. Gorgeous!! As you pull up they park your car (free) We said we just wanted to browse then perhaps a juice. They offered us bottles of water to walk around with! Everybody was very welcoming, no snobbish ness! They have rare antique books on show about architecture in the library. We spent at least 2 hours browsing, then homemade scones jam and cream i. The juicery. Children were there too and a few dogs. The Loggia where Pizza and charcuterie boards are served was full, also the high end restaurant the Orangery. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and daydreamed about living in such finery! @ RH England, The Gallery at the Historic Aynho Park

What a concept... backed up by incredible service
What a wonderful, intimate experience we had at the incredible RH England. Aside from the incredible setting, the focus on intimate service and quality makes the trip very special. We had just got our new car and were nervous after driving it around the tiny Cotswolds streets, but we were able to park right outside and relax in majestic and inspiring surroundings. Lunch was superb and memorable... thank you - we will return.

I’d first visited Aynhoe Park under its previous management when we attended a friend’s wedding here but visited again recently following its takeover by the US high-end design company Restoration Hardware or “RH” as it has been re-branded where it is now a stately home-cum high end interior design / furniture showroom. Think if a traditional English stately home had received a no-expenses spared grand Hamptons-style makeover.

We were given the most friendly welcome by the well mannered and devoted staff (there seems to be a very high staff to guest ratio), and after a walk around the mesmerising and spectacularly grand rooms and manicured grounds surrounding the house, we attended the Loggia where we had our reservation for lunch.

The menu was very reasonably priced, consisting of mostly unfussy Italian dishes and thin crust pizzas. We opted for some meatballs in tomato sauce, a rocket and Parmesan and tomato salad and a range of their pizza’s which were all delicious. There were a few teething problems like the main courses being served at he same time as our starters (we had to ask about what happened to them)) but the waiting staff were very apologetic and helpful so I’m sure mishaps like that wlll be ironed out soon. It really was a beautiful setting with in-built fires on each table and where diners overlook the sprawling south facing mature gardens. I’d highly recommend a visit if you are in this part of the Cotswolds near Banbury before everyone else hears about it.

There is also an indoor Orangerie restaurant which I gather is slightly more formal.
