We have just come away from rugrats this morning. After travelling with a new born the last couple of days to visit family, we thought it was only fair to stop somewhere our 3 year old could stretch her legs and burn off some steam!
On arrival we were too early for the next available session, however, the staff were very accommodating and let us sit to feed our hungry baby after a two hour car journey!
The play areas are fantastic and well thought out. We particularly loved the under three area as its perfect for their abilities at that age.
The general decor was lovely and had been plastered with Halloween decorations! Looked fantastic.
The whole place was very clean and looks like it’s kept very well.
The only reason I have not rated this 5* is unfortunately because of the hot drinks. The hot chocolate was quite watery and quite pricey. The latte was ok but disappointed they were served in paper cups.
Overall I think it’s a lovely clean play area with friendly staff. Only downside was the hot drinks but will certainly visit again when we are in the area.

I am sorry to hear about the drinks. If you had let us know about the chocolate we could have replaced that. As there’s no indicator when the chocolate machine has run low, and if it’s busy, the staff can sometimes forget to check the level and ensure it’s getting a full measure of chocolate. So huge apologies.
The latte is disappointing as we use a coffee blend we have used for years and had lots of compliments about our coffee. We would ideally love to have 2 roasts on the go but if we do that we can’t do a decaf version ( particularly for our pregnant clients ). We chose to go without china as we found the coffee was going cold too quickly and was a safety risk to children when they accidentally bumped someone carrying cups and could burn them. The lidded cups stay warmer and less spillage.
Anyhow I hope the drinks didn’t spoil your stay too much and we look forward to seeing you on your trip past. Caroline xxx

Rugrats is the only soft play I actually recommend to people. It's always incredibly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful (I had to postpone my visit negate my child was ill and when I called to explain they kindly let me postpone the visit with no fuss) and most importantly... this place actually serves a decent cup of coffee! There's great facilities for all ages from sensory things for tiny babies, right up to trampolines for older kids! Highly recommended.

Our second visit yesterday with our 1 year old grandson and granddaughter, it’s a fantastic place for children to be able to run around and burn off energy in a clean and safe environment. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.
We ate at the on-site cafe yesterday, the food was delicious and good value.
There is a designated under 3 area with some great sensory toys as well as the larger indoor play area with lots of places to climb and slides for older children.
You get the feeling around the whole building that it is very clean and well cared for which is a really nice thing too.
Definitely worth a visit for families!

We visited with a 10 year old and 2 year old - both absolutely loved it. I can’t praise the staff enough; friendly, efficient and attentive. The toilets needed a little attention, however, it was very clean other than this (and this is more down to other customers, rather than the staff). The food and drink selection is really impressive and a big range of play equipment and sensory areas. Both the admission and refreshments are of excellent value. Will definitely be back!

I recently had my baby girl's 4th birthday at Rugrats and Half Pints Banbury. I cannot thank the staff for making her birthday special. They were kind, polite, patient, and accommodating. Any parent can express how stressful it can be putting on the events. The Rugrats and Half Pints staff alleviated our stress by taking care of us. I highly recommend planning events for the little ones at Rugrats and Half Pints. My baby girl had a blast and they made her B-day one remember.

My daughter had her 4th birthday party here and it was amazing!
The staff do pretty much everything, you just turn up.. it’s all very straight forward and any questions you had they are more than happy to help. Stress-free!

Just spent 3 hours at Rugrats and Half pint in Banbury with my 3 year old and 7 month old granddaughters, what a great place, perfect as I have two very different ages to entertain it was perfect! So many educational things to play and interact with, safe, clean and well kept, both girls had just the best time and I would highly recommend going, this come from a dad of four and grandad of 3. The food was also excellent, a wide choice of options, I went for the bacon and brie toasty with chips, delicious, thank you Craig.
