Visited this week to enjoy another successful Autumn Week. We also come along to Spring Week at Easter and, as always, haven't been disappointed by the activities and treasure hunt put on in the garden. A flat rate (and very reasonable at that) to enter and all activities included in this price. The gardens are beautifully kept with plenty of... More

A group of my old school friends and a few more to bring numbers up to minimum 12 required enjoyed an amazingly well organised tour of Godinton. The house tour takes about one hour and should not be missed. Our guide Manuella certainly had amazing knowledge of the house, particularly detailing the beautiful porcelain of which there is a considerable... More

Perhaps not the easiest place to find, but well worth the effort. For once we decided to do the House Tour, finding that we were the only ones to be shown round. Well worth the money, and the very pleasant Lady was very informative. With the wood work in what was the medieval hall, very impressive indeed. Gardens and walks... More

Thank you for your kind review and we are glad you enjoyed your visit to Godinton House and Gardens. We hope to see you again soon. We are trying to improve our accessibility but there are brown signs off the A20 and from the Great Chart area. More

Book yourselves a pic nic during the summer and sit on the croquet lawn and enjoy a bawdy English drama spoken under the moon and stars. We have visited Godinton now for four years and watched a series of excellent plays in the beautiful setting eating and drinking with friends. The intermission gives you time to access the walled and... More

Although close to Ashford the Godinton estate is not easyto find but when you get there the trip is well worth the effort. The gardens are simply stunning with the show piece the walled garden which amongst other plants houses one of the best collections of delphiniums in the country. Adjoining it is the small italianate garden which is an... More

I have lived for many years within easy reach of this beautiful place. I love going to visit when the delphiniums are in bloom which godinton house is renowned for. Stunning array of colours when these are in bloom but it's still stunning at other times. There are many places to stop and take in the views and sit and... More

A beautiful house with much history with pretty gardens and lovely surrounding countryside. We've been here at different times of the year and love the passing of the seasons in the gardens. There are steep stairs in the house so those with mobility issues may be restricted to the ground floor.

Thank you for your kind review and we are glad you enjoyed your visits to Godinton House and Gardens. There is one steep staircase in the House, and any guests with mobility issues will be offered to go up the main staircase which is less steep. Sadly due to the historic fabric of the building we cannot improve this, but... More
