Worthing pier is the perfect place for a nice catch up. Admire the open sea as you devour your melting ice cream( that's if it's warm). The perfect time to take to the pier is in summer for either the sun rise or sunset which...More

Appalling. Having specifically gone there for a Sunday lunch we navigated dirty uncleaned tables and completely disinterested staff who made no effort to serve us. Trying to remedy this by engaging with the staff resulted in asking for the manager due to the level of...More

Of course it is the only pier in Worthing but we went for a walk with some friends to blow the cobwebs away and I sometimes wonder what people expect of a pier. The bar at the end was closed by the time we got...More

Hopefully because of the time of year, just a couple of cafes and a rubbish amusement arcade open. Busier in the summer perhaps?

A retro ambiance. Very well preserved and presented. One of the finest piers in England in my experience. Man playing a piano added to the atmosphere. Two restaurants both of which looked good were situated on the pier - one at each end. A worthy...More

This is a classic Pier with amusements on the middle of the construction and a fine restaurant with a fabulous view out at the very end. There is a good windbreaker in the middle of the pier, so you can always get away from the...More

Went to the pavilion on the pier. Poor service. Staff disinterested in customers . More than enough staff to clear tables rather than talking to each other.

This is a great pier to walk along, and does not have all the garish attractions such as the one at Brighton. It is like stepping back through time to the 1930's, and can even get an ice cream cone for a pound. Then there...More

Here's a more detailed answer. There are no rides on the pier itself. If you want rides and razzmatazz go to Littlehampton, Bognor Regis or Brighton, where there are loads. There are rides in Worthing during the summer... More
