Hi There. I have made a comment about the Southern Pavilion Cafe/Restaurant 1930's on Worthing Pier. After reading quite negative comments about this place. I just wondered if anyone can step in & do something about its poor staff attitude & extortionate prices. The food...More

The thing that ruins the experience here is the awfully long time queuing to order food. The views are top rate of course, and our coffee and sandwiches were fine.

Every resident or visitor to Worthing should try this place at least once. It's on the end of The Pier with lovely sea views.

Having lived in Ferring for over 50 years, and thus having used the Pier on many occasions, it is great to see it restored and used by many. End of the Pier tea and cake is a bit special, and well worth undertaking. Some local...More

It nice to visit if you are in the area. I don't think it is great, I would not have missed it if I had not been there. I would rather spend more time at Brighton pier less than 25 miles away westwards.

Went for lunch. Bit untidy. Not very welcoming. No atmosphere. Pianist plonking away was too heavy. Good overpriced for what it was.

Hi when we were there the signage is confusing. The pier bar and restaurant closes early but during the Summer the gates were not closed and several anglers were there to do some night fishing

Here's a more detailed answer. There are no rides on the pier itself. If you want rides and razzmatazz go to Littlehampton, Bognor Regis or Brighton, where there are loads. There are rides in Worthing during the summer... More
