We booked to go to this for a friends Birthday, sadly she was poorly so unable to make it, but still encouraged us to go. We were given lovely clear instructions before the session, and met where we were supposed to by Olive, who was amazing from start to finish, she clearly loves her job, and really made us feel welcome. We got to the welcome bit where we all got very excited about sparkly fancy dress, and all got dressed up in various glitter outfits. Olive took the time to explain what was going to happen and we were amazed that after asking she managed to remember correctly each of our 7 member names! The game itself was excellent, based on several different game show, being able to do 2 at a time was great as quite a large group we could split up work on them separately only having to come together to do the conga!! Such a clever set up, with great variety, you could come back and do it again, as we had several games that we didn't get to and also i have no idea how some of the games the other half of my group did! All in all we came out hot, bothered, a bit glittery but all saying the same thing, what brilliant afternoon. Thanks Mindworks, and especially Olive for making the afternoon such good fun. We will b back.

We had brilliant time! The host was amazing. It was great fun looking for the clues and solving the puzzles. It's very well designed, attention to smallest details, very engaging. I am definitely going to try the other ones, this time with my family!!

Our first ever family visit to an escape room and it did not disappoint! ‘Trapped for Cash’ is epic! Colourful, exciting, engaging, well presented, great mix of challenging puzzles, lots of fun & humour too. Our host, Olive, was a credit to the company, so enthusiastic, clearly loves her job & was fantastic at explaining what to expect. Really nice to have a little debrief at the end to ask questions about some of the more challenging games too. We are keen to book their other escape rooms and urge anyone who fancies a good giggle to book ‘Trapped for Cash’.

Great host and the family really enjoyed the smugglers Ruin escape room. We all had fun and really had to work hard to search for clues and solve all the puzzles. The host was brilliant and knew when to step in and help with clues to make sure we completed the escape room even if we were a little bit over time. Thank you

One of the best escape rooms we’ve done with an incredible host. We did the smugglers room and loved it. We’ve done most of the rooms around Sussex and this is up there with the best for sure! The puzzles and set were really interesting and well laid out and there wasn’t a single frustrating, unsatisfying puzzle in the room (there’s normally at least one). Our host (Fogg) was brilliant, he stayed in character from start to finish and gave just the right level of little nudges to help us from getting stuck.

Wow! What an escape room! Firstly, the set design was on point! Colourful, engaging and very immersive. Secondly, the puzzles were incredibly fun. Each one kept us on our toes and the random puzzle aspect meant we had no idea what was coming next. After all the chaotic fun of the first part the team is brought together in a more linear play. It was a refreshing take on an escape room. Lastly, the host was amazing. There is a love for the games here and you instantly pick that up from how engaging the host was. Highly recommended!

Absoloutley incredible experience! The most perfect date night makes such a change from the usual pubs etc! amazing host and amazing game! Thankyou so much! Can't wait to try the rest of your rooms!

This is one of the best escape room venues around. Trapped For Cash ranks as one of my favourites of 130 rooms I've done, and Smuggler's Ruin isn't far behind. The puzzles are so elegant, the sets are great and they are just so much fun to play. Both games are unique and stand out amongst others in the UK. Our hosts were fantastic, particularly Fogg who was exceptional in Smuggler's Ruin - I can't see anyone else playing their role. The owner Jamie was and great host too and we had a lovely chat after. This venue seem overshadowed by others in the area, but they truly are fantastic games and I can't recommend them enough

12th Birthday treat- 2 adults and 5 children. Fantastic puzzles with just enough well timed hints so that the children were able to successfully complete the rooms within the hour. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it far exceeded our expectations. Really clever ideas, well executed. Would highly recommend. I now want to go back and completed the other escape rooms with my friends!!

Very very good escape room. Will be back to in due course to try the other two. B lived how varied the challenges were and the herbal theming of trapped for cash. Host was very skilled in making it immersive from the offset and just an all round excellent experience. Cheers!
