    The Vatican comes to Worthing
I love the fact that a fairly standard modern church has such a spectacular ceiling. Having been to the Sistine Chapel it brought it all back to me. A real work of love and dedication. I particularly appreciated the friendly welcome and explanation from the most affable custodian and would recommend this as something a bit different to see in Worthing..

    Amazing Artwork
Small church with amazing artwork by a very talented artist. Vibrant colours. Very informative church members on hand. Had mirrored trolleys to help you view the ceiling. Also a very modern stained glass window.

Unbelievable Art in a small English town
Made a pre-booked visit with a group. Well worth it because the speaker was amusing and informative and we were given plenty of time to wander about after the talk. We were all deeply moved by the dedication of the artist,a member of the congregation and a signwriter. The imaginative stained glass was a bonus

    Stunning!
We were so pleased someone told us about this church. The ceiling is the most wonderful work of art. We've never seen the original but can it be better than this?! Plenty of time and space to stand and stare at this fabulous fruit of someone's vision, truly his labour of love. You must go, you will not be disappointed

    Simply amazing.
A cousin of mine recommended visiting this particular church during my brief stay in Sussex. Apparently they have coachloads of tourists arrive just to admire the magnificent artwork. It is certainly not difficult to see why. After contacting the friendly staff in the parish office, I decided to visit on a Sunday morning, during Mass. Although I am not particularly religious, this was definitely the best time to visit. Their gift shop is open for a short while after the service, so I was able to purchase some souvenirs. As well, I purchased some post cards to send back home to Melbourne. Before the service, a volunteer was explaining to me about the artwork. Apparently the artist was so amazed at the artwork in the Sistine Chapel that he obtained permission to paint a reproduction in this particular church. He had no formal training, but he did such a brilliant job. Local church members were used in the copy of The last Supper. This really is worth visiting.

Unlike the Sistine Chapel, you are welcome to view this amazing artwork at your own pace and take as many photographs as you wish.
The volunteer staff were knowledgeable and helpful, even though the church had been struck by lightning during a thunderstorm the night before our visit.

Saw this church last week whilst on a coach trip to Brighton, it is so beautiful the colours are amazing, and all done by one man on scaffolding.

Well worth a visit - the custodians were extremely friendly and knowledgable, and also struck the perfect balance of chatting to us and also giving us time to absorb the artwork. A unique and surprising find - not at all what you would expect from looking at the outside.
