An old pre-fab building has been converted into a thriving Catholic Church where the ceiling has been painted to replicate the Sistine Chapel in Rome

Call in to view the painted ceiling based on the Sistine Chapel in Rome! Coaches call in with viewers. Famous locally

What a find well worth a visit, it took a parishioner 7 years to recreate a copy of the Sistine chapel. A must regardless of your religious beliefs. The detail is amazing, even wooden areas painted to look like marble. Enjoy

It is hard to believe that this outstanding art work was painted by an ordinary (extra-ordinary) parishioner. It is outstanding and shows what can be achieved through the human spirit.

Well worth a visit. Check opening times if travelling from afar. Beautiful representation of an artwork which would cost an arm and a leg to visit the flesh - so to speak. It is not an exact replica but an artwork in its own right.
