We visited Walton Gardens with family in the summer holidays. The Zoo occupied the children who enjoyed seeing the array of animals on show. The children then spent the afternoon on the newly refurbished playground. It is a fantastic facility with play equipment for all ages. On a bright sunny afternoon the place was full and it was difficult to... More

Visited in the summer and the place was buzzing. Good car parking facilities and well signed posted to this excellent family friendly park. There's lots to keep the kids occupied - we started with a game of football with our grandson, then a picnic, followed by a game of pitch and putt, then a wander around the children's zoo before... Visited here many times over the years. A lot to offer families with young children with a large park, zoo, pond and crazy golf. Also lovely gardens and nice walks for all.

Considering this is free it is well worth a day out, particularly in the summer I would expect. Whether you just want a leisurely stroll or fancy taking the kids then it will be of benefit. The Petting Zoo, the craft shops, the Crazy Golf, the manor house, the canal, the playground and the gardens themselves afford variety but at... More

A beautiful place to wander round. The little zoo is great for the kids too. There's a large playground for the kids and lots of seating for the parents, always a winner. Well worth a visit.
