Been visiting Walton Hall Gardens since I was a child and still love it! Great playground for smaller children and another one for the older ones too - my 9 year old secretly still likes it! Crazy golf is fun and it's a good place to walk the dog. If the weather is good, you can spend all day with... More

Large children's playground, big pitch and putt course and modern crazy golf. Small zoo and plenty of grass to let the children play on. Nice walk around the grounds. Pay and display car park adjacent to the entrance.

Beautiful gardens to explore , great for a picnic, however in the holidays there are fairground rides and amusements in abundance which does tend to leave you constantly being asked 'can I' 'can I' 'can I' from the kids, just a warning.

I've been here many times for the Disability Awareness Day (s), with family and friends, to play crazy golf and once for a wedding and reception, this review concentrates on that day. Walton Hall is licensed for weddings and they seem very practiced at it. It's the original building and has been kept in good condition by Warrington council. It... More

I have been coming here all my life. It is a fantastic place to visit. There is a good play area for children and a small animal zone. The gardens are beautiful and the pond is amazing. There is also a revamped crazy golf area, and the pitch and putt area is good fun. It is free to enter with... More

Visited with family who live in Stockton Heath. Spent time wandering around the gardens as we had a dog which, understandably, we could not take into the house. I loved the various small gardens within, each having a different feel and type of planting. Loved the wooded area. A great day out for all the family. Flat enough in most... More

Having visited as a child, teenager, adult and parent I believe the park offers something for everyone of all ages. Whether it's to keep the kids entertained for the afternoon while you stretch out on the grass. Or you can always find a quiet corner to sit and relax. Either with friends or on your own. I especially like the... More

We're on a real budget and wanted to give the kids an action packed day. The park is packed with the best resources I've ever seen on such an adventure playground. The grounds are beautiful too.

With a cafe, zoo, mini golf and play area Walton Gardens is a great way to spend a sunny day for the cost of a parking ticket. Our favourite place for a picnic!
