    ALPACA EXPERIENCE A MUST
We visited today to take a walk with the alpaca's and wow what an experience. It is amazing to walk with these beautiful animals. They are so peaceful creatures and are wonderful to be with. I walked Topaz, my daughter in law walked the crazy but amusing Jimmy and my grand daughter (14) walked the ever so peaceful Malbeck. It is such a great value for money and Peter our guide was fantastic who clearly loved his job working with the alpaca's.

    Beautiful gardens
Beautiful gardens and a lovely park for little ones. The house would make a perfect wedding venue and the gardens amazing backdrop for photos. Parking was awful when we went but it was the height of summer !!

    Great family day out
Fabulous family day out. Visited for the first time with our toddler and had a great day! £4 for parking isn’t too expensive and especially when entry is free! The children’s zoo was lovely and the park had lots to keep little ones occupied. Really well looked after and easy to spend a whole day there looking round. Will defo be returning!

    Decorous
In rolling pasture stands a decorous and elegant mansion. In lovely brick it originates in the mid 1830s and was constructed for Sir Gilbert Greenall, 1st Baronet, brewer and Member of Parliament. A park that is voluminous was grand for strolling around, in the pleasant evening sunshine. But the focus was the delightful build. A fine clock tower has four levels with the multi faced clock at the apex, surmounted by an ornate metal apogee.

Country Park packed with fun activities and beautiful gardens
There is so much to see and explore at Walton Hall and Gardens it's a brilliant place for a family day out. It sits on the Bridgewater canal with lovely views and canal boats going by. There is a large pay and display car park right outside. Entry is free, once inside there is a huge amount of space to explore, nature trails, woodland walks, duck ponds and flower gardens. There is a children's zoo with farm animals, a large play area suitable for all ages and there's also miniadventure golf and pitch & putt (additional charges for this). There was also the recent addition of a treetops adventure park (this is around £15pp). There's a large hall and heritage centre plus a lovely cosy cafe. Many events are held throughout the year including food fayres and Christmas events all of which have been amazing that we've attended. We visit regularly and would highly recommend.

    Brilliant
It’s a brilliant place, lots to do from a big park to animal zoo (small) crazy golf etc but large green space and wooded area. Parking nearby £3 but you could spend all day, usually a ice cream van hovering also. Site does have a cafe but it is overpriced for what is, avoid and get to a butty shop before you come

    Alpaca walk
What a lovely experience taking the Alpaca for a walk. My family were lead by Kyle, who was knowledgeable about the Alpaca but also about the plants snd the history of the hall. Who knew Warrington had some giant redwoods! I would highly recommend to anyone who loves animals.

I was at Walton Gardens today and I was pleased to see so many families with children enjoying the sunshine. It was lovely to see the children playing hide and seek, ball games or trying to see some fish in the pond. Some children were very happy to walk the alpacas. Families were also enjoying using the children playground, mini golf, etc...

The flowerbeds look absolutely lovely this year. The gardeners have certainly selected a good variety of flowers.

I met a Canadian who told me that he thought the gardens were really nice . When I told him Canada was beautiful, he replied : and so are those gardens.

Many thanks to the gardeners and the Wednesday volunteers who work so hard to keep Walton Garden looking so nice.

Today we had a comfortable enjoyable experience with a four year old and six year old.We met up with our niece and her partner and the two tots. After paying only 3 pounds parking , we entered into a beautiful estate with zoo ,playground ,sensory garden ,Koi carp pool with terrapins, and many little meandering walks. The youngsters were happy to enjoy the free activities, culminating with a light lunch.Later on we put them on the Thomas train tour around the sight. What a great find. The Heritage Cafe catered for our needs at fair prices.A few payable rides were on offer, and the youngsters enjoyed. The well mowed lawns catered to the families for picnics and games.
