Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great play centre, with specialist equipment to make our little ones feel included, cheap drinks, friendly staff ...a perfect and safe place for our children

There's not a lot of places I can comfortably take my boy - his epilepsy and a side order of autism make general soft play areas a bit of a nightmare. So for us, the sensory centre has been a real life line. My lad can vary between extremely bright and bouncy, to times when he's pretty out of it and chilled. Wherever he is, however, the centre is perfect for him - He can lounge about on the settees or on the wibbly water bed, or when he's brighter he can climb round the soft play equipment or whoosh down the slide with a big grin on his face. Whatever he does there, he is content and SAFE. We get no odd looks from other kids, or much worse - parents! I don't feel like I'm judged - I know that's probably more my own paranoia kicking in, but sometimes the pitying looks from others, whilst well meaning, can be hurtful. Finally, for the first time ever, I was able to invite the whole of his class at a special needs school for his birthday party - some of the kids had never been invited to a birthday party before and they were all teenagers.
Wonderful place, wonderful staff - could not recommend it more highly.
Oh - and we also get to chat with other families through "Warrington Parents and Carers" - great support to feel less isolated and find out what's going on in Warrington.

Fantastic! A great place for both my children to play and have fun without the boundaries placed by social etiquette which can restrict children on the spectrum. I love our Friday nights as we have a fun filled evening where their energy is burned off and I can relax over a coffee :-))))))

This is a place that children with additional needs can have fun! It's safe and welcoming. Its really hard when you have a child that has a disability to go to places but the sensory centre is just completely welcoming - its clean and feels new and a place that all your children can run around and explore. I just sat and watched RELAXING!. 10/10

A future focused facility that provides an array of activities and sessions for families, disability partnerships, and local schools. Offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, quality service and educating discussions, I would personally recommend Woolston Play and Sensory Centre (WPSC) to any parent/guardian/ support worker. I believe WPSC provides a valuable environment that allows children and young adults to express their independence through guided discovery. WPSC staff are on hand as and when required, providing support, advice and guidance to anyone who requires there assistance.

With three children who have energy to burn the sensory centre is a bit of a haven. My eldest is Autistic but feels very safe and relaxes at the centre which means my younger two can play and have fun.
We had a fantastic party at the centre for my middle son.
I was slightly sceptical about how beneficial the centre could be for us as a family until I took my eldest in a stressed state into the sensory room and watched his worries slowly lift as he lay in the ball pit with the soft lighting watching the bubbles in the bubble tube. It was amazing to see him physically and mentally relax.
Staff are always welcoming and the drinks/ snacks prices are reasonable.

Lovely play area specifically designed with people with disabilities in mind. lovely soft play area in bright surroundings. it has a sensory room with water bed and various other pieces of sensory equipment. The staff couldn't be more helpful, To the extent that they will sometimes go in and play with the children if you're having a 'difficult time' the refreshments on offer are incredibly reasonable, compared to the fancy play areas where a small mortgage is required for a visit.

My brother had his birthday party at the end of last month here and all the children enjoyed it! Even the adults got to go into the playspace and supervise their children!
The staff on hand were amazing - especially as some of the children have specific demands.
The sensory room is absolutely lovely and there are drinks and snacks available to buy.
Not a bad word to say about this place.

What is the cost involved in bringing children with special needs? And do you have a sample menu in the cafe ?
