I had to move my car from Duke Street to the square, just before I went there. The parking was free, as it was a Bank Holiday. When I walked in, the man told me to sign the book. After I had, he then told me what they'd got on the different floors. It was interesting, especially the historical bits.…

What an interesting diversion on our recent visit back to Tavistock. As former residents of the town, it was very interesting, small, but packed with exhibits and information, especially about local mining. Well worth visiting.

Learn the history of beautiful Tavistock. Entry is a donation.volunteers are lovely . Lots of visuals for younger guests. Lots of stairs. Bris a brac for sale under an archway . Good for rainy days.

We visited this museum recently it was only small but very interesting, it gave an aspect of the local history to Tavistock. The main part is up some steep stairs but if it is possible for you to visit it is well worth it. Ammision is free with a donation towards the upkeep, in the reception a small shop allows you to buy items to help with its upkeep.…
