Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's not big but such a nicely laid out garden set out in a terraced format that takes you from the town down to the pub by the river and the park. One of those places we discovered by accident. There are places to sit and enjoy the garden and the views.

Wandered around these gardens for a while, I especially liked the sensory area and the salad area with a note to say help your self!. Lots of steps and it is quite slippery when wet.

Cared for by volunteers with plenty of benches to sit on. The plants and flowers are always well kept and the benches provide a place to sit and admire the river Wye and the surrounding countryside.

We had heard a bit about these gardens so decided to give them a whirl
You start off at street level and make your way down towards the Hope and Anchor Hotel
To be honest we were surprised how well maintained these gardens are.
Hillside gardens are not that easy to look after but these volunteers do a grand job fair play to them and as Mr Thomas Blake who was born in 1825 above Blake’s Hardware Store in town ,He came from humble beginnings, but built up a fortune which he mostly spent on the people and town of Ross.so its quite fitting to see him reminded in this way.
Hats off to you all Well Done all of you.

These gardens are passed on the way down to the river. They look really beautiful and when getting close up smell magical too. A really great addition to the local environment.
