Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We just like boats and the weather was nice enough to sit on the top deck. It was very relaxing and if we had more time we would have taken advantage of being able to get off for an hour at Normanton.
It was nice learning a few facts from the commentary and Dave actually came around and got orders from the bar, do you didn't have to get up and get a coffee!
Would do another cruise.
3 hours in the car park is £4.

We had the pleasure of going on the Rutland Belle, the crew were outstanding and Dave LFC absolutely made my day. He was very attentive and made sure my friend and I had a lovely time onboard. I even got a birthday shout out from the Captain.
We could not have picked a better day for it, the sun was out and the bonus is you can buy drinks on board. All I can say Prosecco and a cruise makes for a wonderful adventure. I could not recommend enough and hopefully you get the legend Dave LFC looking after you onboard. Thank you so much for making my day Dave!!!!

We visit every year for our wedding anniversary as we got married at Normanton Church and had some drinks and canapés on the Rutland belle in 2021. Staff are always so welcoming and we got a free drink this year which was so lovely of them. It’s a lovely trip across Rutland water, highly recommend

A fantastic cruise on a beautifully well presented vessel. She is a credit to her crew, who couldn‘t have been more helpful and friendly. The steward was particularly generous with his time in explaining to me all the work that was done every year in order to keep her in tip top condition. I was even afforded a glimpse of the extremely well turned out Gardner engine.

Took boat trip on Rutland Belle during visit. Trip costs £13 return and lasts 45 mins. The boat leaves from Whitwell on the North Shore and calls at Normanton on South Shore. Good information is provided highlighting points of interest and information. Refreshments are available to purchase on board. Staff really friendly and accommodating. Lovely scenery and would recommend.

Good way to experience the lake with commentary if you are interested. Didn't last very long though. The rip off parking costs are strangely not obvious on the website, not is the information about what to do at the stop off.

A very enjoyable, scenic trip on the Rutland Belle which proved very informative about Rutland Water. The staff were friendly and the boat comfortable and well equipped. All in all, a very enjoyable hour. Would recommend.

A super boat trip with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
A not to be missed trip if you are in the area as it gives you a sense of the size of Rutland Water as well as a commentary about its history.

One family ticket which is £28. If one of your children is less than three years old then he/she will go free of charge in which case the charge would be £19 for two adults + £6.50 for one child.
