I have booked my son’s 13th Birthday. Kids had so much fun in the Escape Room. The number of various puzzles and games to solve was great,our host done great job. I am still impressed by her service,she made every child feel inclusive, take part in games, she was lovely! Also the communication before,during and after the party was great. The food quality could be better but pretty much is the same standard as on any other kids venues - Overall it was a great experience and the most important thing is that children left very happy.

This was great fun. Everyone really enjoyed it. We did this as a group of 5 ages ranging from 16-60. Everyone was able to contribute and no one was left feeling like a spare part. It was challenging without being frustratingly difficult. Well presented and run. I would 100% recommend if you enjoy escape rooms or want to try one out for the first time. They will give you tips over a walkie talkie if you get really stuck so you’re not just left confused and frustrated.

Rented the Pirates of Zero World and extra puzzles in the mini chest for NYE (4 adults & 2 teens). Really clever concept but it’s not easy, glad we had access to a few hints and the videos when we got stuck. Also glad we went for the stopwatch option as it took us quite a bit longer than an hour! Great fun and brilliant to be able to do an escape room at home.

We wanted to do something New Years day but depending on the state of health of our group the night before, we wanted something to do at home! You get the opportunity to do just that with the “pirates of zero world”. You get a very authentic looking treasure chest and quite a few puzzles to work how to get inside the chest and even then that’s just the beginning, as there are further compartments within the chest, locked, you’ve got to get into and each one leads to the next before you can complete the game together with a treasure map! We did have one concern at the end when having resolved the last question a “secret drawer” is supposed to spring open but it didn’t, when I telephoned they explained the game is set in two realities, so it’s random whether you or your counter part gets to see the drawer open, which I thought was a nice twist! It was delivered and collected by a very nice lady Eva and when I spoke to her on the phone beforehand, she was very helpful (as the website was a little unclear as to what options there were when leasing the item eg they said a deposit was needed but never asked for and the delivery charges ( you can collect and return yourself) were a little unclear whether the charges were each way or not, they are for both ways! We managed to resolve it in just under an hour though the advantage is you have the whole day, so if you want to stop at any time to make the tea or walk the dog, you can and just come back to the chest without worrying about the time limit. There are quite a few loose and small pieces as you work your way through, so make sure you have a bowl or something to keep them all in as at the end you are expected to,put it all back the way it was delivered, there are clear instructions how to do this. The cost we felt was reasonable given the cost if you went in person and we would recommend this to those who fancied doing an escape room at home and physical rather than through the internet. The tests are hard, or some are, so it’s not one just for children, you need an adult brain!

A really great experience right from booking to the party. We booked an escape room for our sons 12th birthday. The whole group loved the escape room and really enjoyed the meal after. The games with the meal to win clues to release the party cake was great fun. Would definitely recommend.

We had a brilliant time completing the “Portal” challenge as a family at the weekend. You’re immersed in the whole experience as soon as you arrive, and the challenges kept us all entertained for the whole hour. Just the right level of skill required to interest the adults but also engage the children in the group and keep them busy. We all left thinking it was a really fun family activity and would definitely want to do it again.

We came for my daughters 13th birthday party. The party was well organised and and communications before hand were good. Because there were a mix of ages I would have had at least 1 adult in the escape room with them if we were to do it again but the children all enjoyed themselves especially the games during the meal. The food was good, we had the adult portions which was all finished by the hungry (pre)teenagers. Thank you to Eva and to the team at ASA cafe.

We’ve done a few escape rooms and this was one of the best. It was intuitive and logical. It had some good special effects too. Eva, who hosted it, couldn’t have been more helpful beforehand and on the day. We were a group of 7 people and it’s difficult to find anywhere that can accommodate that number together. There was plenty to do for 7, and we didn’t get in each other’s way. Recommended.

My son had his 11th Birthday here with 5 of his friends, they all loved it. The host was really helpful and guided me through the best options to ensure my son had everything he wanted for his party. The boys had a lovely time. It was good to see them working together cracking the clues. I can't recommend this place enough. Absolutely brilliant for a kids party, Thank you.

The Portal escape room has an unusual set of puzzles in that they're all electronic. As a group of 4 we liked that to some extent we were able to work on multiple puzzles simultaneously to begin with. It was fun and we'd go back to do other rooms at Escape for Real
