I don't think it does him justice think it dosent look like him & to see plastic flowers tied round his feet I was nit vey impressed with that shoukd be fresh flowers there

Nice tribute to Les in a quiet garden. Not sure the statue is a great likeness. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Just to see the great man.

Went for a walk along this end of the Prom, lovely little Tranquil garden area to sit and relax. A bit disappointed with the size of the statue when Les had such a big personality. Loved watching him when I was younger. But very nice...More

A touching tribute to the famous Les Dawson, set in a tranquil garden close to the pier. I think this is a lovely thing and it's a great place to pause for a rest whilst exploring St Annes, and remember Les as well as others...More

Took some friends who were visiting us for a few days and they asked if we could take them to see Les but they were totally disappointed with the statue because it’s nothing like him and it’s hidden away from the pier I’m sure he...More

Les was probably one of the best pianists and entertainers in a Great British entertainment era when sea sides had frequent visitors. He looked after a poorly wife for years a credit to his family
