We have used this Sailing School previously and have had s good relationship. Unfortunately, the company ceased trading and was no longer a member of the RYA. That did not stop Fiona Vander taking our money for a Competent Crew Course she was no longer able to deliver. She also did not tell us the company had ceased trading, the yachts were not in the water and were not insured. After several promises she is no longer in contact with us and owes us £8100. This will probably not help anyone now but steer well clear. I note she has managed to compete in the Round the Island Race this weekend and perhaps that money should have been spent refunding us and probably lots of other people she owes money to. I hope she can live with that level of deceit.

We booked in February and paid in full. With our sailing weekend coming up we tried to contact the company to get an itinerary. When we couldn’t reach anyone alarm bells went off and we discovered that the company had ceased operating. We had to try and chase down the owners to get a refund. We are currently still awaiting that refund even though we have been promised payment.

Completed our Competent Crew with Toby. What a great weekend. Felt more like a holiday than learning and feel like everything sunk in. Ready and feeling much more confident to move to our Day Skipper course now. THANKS

Euan was our instructor, extremely knowledgeable and patient with the ability to teach at all levels for people on the boat at all levels of experience. The little goldmines of information with the confidence to ask any question was really useful. Hands on experience everyday and the chance to see more of the Solent and marinas on mainland on Isle of Wight made for a fantastic week. My confidence grew everyday and I'm now ready to start reading up for my day skipper theory. thank you to the crew and staff at SeaJays for a great introduction to Sailing Louise
