Funny, informative and relaxing - give it a go!

Spotted the kiosk on the harbour side for this short river trip. Thought I’d give it a go - they were happy to take my dog too and in fact there was another dog on board too!!
It’s a short trip down the river and back with an informative and funny guy pointing out places of interest. Nice and relaxing and a nice way to spend half and hour or so.
Really worth a go - do it!

Perfect Puffin Pirate trip for the children

We went with friends and their two children on the puffin pirate boat. The children absolutely loved their trip around the harbour. There was pirate outfits for the children to dress up in as well as swords, hooks and pistols to play with. The children aboard each had an opportunity to steer the boat and all thoroughly enjoyed finding the treasure. A brilliant half hour trip.

highly recommended for a short trip

A lovely little boat trip - the lady in the kiosk was lovely, friendly and not pushy at all - gave us information on the trip how much (very reasonable). we were very fortunate that we were the only 2 on the boat so had it to ourselves, The captain/skipper was also really nice man, knowledgeable about the marina, the boats and local area and history - pointing things out along the way. He even let us have a steer of the boat added bonus. This is just a short trip out to the sea wall and back (30 mins) but well worth it for the knowledge and scenery you wouldn't get to see from ashore.

Great trip and company!

We recently rented a private trip using Puffin Cruises and would definitely recommend it.
They were very easy to book with and very accommodating. There were no delays and easy to find and board. We had a nice private trip seeing the harbour and some amazing boats - our guide was really informative and friendly too.
Overall a lovely trip, thank you!

Very small route around the harbour..

The booking process was great and very easy. The staff were nice enough and the boat was fine.

But... its not really a river cruise in my view, its just a small loop around a harbour. We had an hours private tour and all we did was go round the moored boats in the harbour, go up to the end of the harbour, turn around and do it all a 2nd time. Even the first loop wasnt that scenic so the 2nd one really felt like it was just killing time. Im sorry to be negative but I could have seen most of this from the bank, I thought we would have gone a greater distance and not just done a small loop twice.

Enormous fun

My husband and I took the Puffin tour around Lymington harbour. However well you think you know the coast from walking or cycling or horse-riding, you'll know it better having seen it from the water. It's enormous fun: much recommended.

If you have young children/ Grandchildren it’s a must!

This half an hour pirate boat trip was worth every penny! Our two children age 10&5 absolutely loved it. The captain makes its such great fun! Dressing up on board, finding treasure,steering the boat, a few others fun things. I was really impressed as wasn’t expecting it to be so good!

A must do in Lymington!!

Had a really lovely boat ride! Lovely views from the boat going up the Lymington harbour, very knowledgeable and witty captain! Great he also got the kids involved (letting my nephew steer the boat) really great experience! Also the trip wasn’t too long so the little ones didn’t loose interest, would highly recommend.
