We booked the two rooms simultaneously that allow two teams to compete against each other to claim the prize. Boys v girls and no love lost!
Girls wimped out because they didn’t like the sound of the critters room! ( no live creatures involved!)
So they chose Elixir Vitea. This did involve a bit of bending and stepping etc and an assortment of knee and back issues for the “not so young” ladies was a slight handicap.
The puzzles were challenging but the level of assistance was just measured right to keep things moving at the necessary pace.
For a larger group I recommend the option of the two room competition.
We had a great time and obviously you know who won!

We had SUCH a great time! The room was brilliant, the game itself was so much fun, and the staff were fantastic - especially Cat, who really looked after us from start to finish. Thank you! Will be back!

Extremely well thought out escape room. Many different types of puzzles and clues if you need them.Good for children and adults. Great half term fun!

Our trip to the Enchanted Forest was the first part of the hen do. None of us had ever done anything similar. It took us a while to get our brains into gear but then we started to solve the clues and retrieved the gem in the nick of time. It was great fun. A lot of effort had been taken in creating the scenario and all the puzzles. All of us thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yet another brilliant room in break escape with a lovely games master. Emily was the perfect amount of letting us get on with the game but giving the odd hint when we obviously needed it. She was all we could ask for! Thank you :D

Had a great time here with my two girls in the Enchanted room! First time with the youngest ( aged 10) who wanted to stay to play another room! Host Emily was so lovely, clear instructions about rules and the game. We would definitely go back to another escape room here.

We played the Sands of Time and escaped with 5 minutes to spare! The room was exciting and made us feel like we were real explorers. Our host (Jess) helped us when needed and made sure we had a good time. We will definitely be coming again!!

Hi Katie,
One of our games (Nerve Klinik) has some scares plus adult themed humour so we recommend 16 plus, this is purely a recommendation, younger players have been before.
Our other 3 games are completely suitable for any age range, we quite often have 6/7 year olds playing alongside their parents. There is a couple of physical elements to some games which may require climbing/crawling or stooping.

5 of us did the boiling point room was absolutely amazing. Would definitely do it again! Taylor was very helpful as were not the britest sparks! A Well deserved 5 star review!!

There are 4 of us in our 70s. what sort of physical tasks would one have to do? have you ever had anyone this old? would you think it advisable to go? what would be the easiest and what sort of things would we have to do?

Hello Jean. Yes we have had people in their 80’s play with us before, and have had 3 generations in one team. As long as the team are generally mobile you should have no issue. We would however suggest Boiling Point as the most suitable of our rooms as it is probably the least physical room, with a focus on more mentally challenging tasks. Using reading & observation skills, attention to detail, some non-arduous dexterity based tasks, and teamwork will see you through the room.
