I have to agree with a lot of other comments on here. Whilst the beach itself is very nice, the rest of the place is dark and dingy. Everywhere you go there are houses and flats in need of renovation. Plenty of closed down shops....More

My fondest memories would be stood on my friends roof terrace watching the carnival go past, when they lived at The Holkham Hotel, but in honesty, Marine Parade has been improved, the floral displays the horse and kart arrangement, it all looks better. I personally...More

Great strolling area with some of Norfolk's most important historical buildings and some very entertaining places to see and visit. Once the setting for one of Europe's top fishing ports, Great Yarmouth seafront was once also one of the world's top resorts, second only to...More

A typical seaside town with plenty of sandy beaches, large port and amusements and rides. The sea front architecture seems to remain mainly largely intact with old large Victorian houses.

i thought trip adviser took fake reviews seriously. I have been reading this for ten minutes and it is constant plagiarism, e.g ( promenade nice and flat, lots of SLOT MACHINE, eateries, blah guff blah.) if anyone who can read spot found a ball can realize 90% of these reviews are pants. I thought this was meant to be a serious site where you can get truthful honest reviews of places around the world. I think this site should have its own review letting guff like this in. Over and over. ( just look at pics and style and grammar). This comment will be forwarded to Trip adviser also so i suggest you get your comments and reveiws in order. I.e.....(dirty toilets, car park too expensive so didnt spend any time looking around) wow... that got you 4 stars. well done. Lets hope someone flushes the joint down the toilet before that person visits again. Might get a full five stars.
