A small but interesting museums, there is dressing up and brass rubbing for the children. Over 3 floors the various parts are accessible by lift. The dungeon may be scary for some smaller children but my 5 and 4 year olds were fine with it...More

A small but very interesting old building parts of which date back to around 12th century. Has been used for many purposes over the years, including a gaol and a courthouse. Be sure to visit the dungeon.

there was a lot of information for such a small area. there was plenty of interactive things for children to do, as well as lots of information for the adults. main drawback is the steps but staff were very willing to help with alternative routes...More

We had a great day in great yarmouth and a really interesting time at the tolhouse museum. Lots to see and its the dungeons or cells that gave me the creeps.!
