Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Prom Art at Grange-over-Sands held the first event of this year on 26th July. I have been attending regularly for several years. It was great to see so many sellers and a good amount of visitors. There is so many things to see and buy, jewellery, photography, paintings, glass art, wool goods, shabby chic housey goods, woodwork, metalwork etc. etc. This is a must if you are in or around Grange-over-Sands on the last Sunday of the month between April and September. The views over the bay are spectacular. There is two very good cafes on the Prom, both with take out facilities. Access to public toilets that take contactless card payments.

Had a stroll along the stalls not long before they were due to close. It’s on the last Sunday of the month. Some nice items such as drawings paintings hand made bags amongst others. Some stalls a bit pricey but nice to look at

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Loads of very talented local artists . Glass, painting, jewellery, wood crafts , hand made delights everywhere. Spoiled for choice. I even bought Christmas presents ! Yes I know it's early but where else can you find original art at these prices ? And what a setting ! Right on the promenade

Love the variety of stalls and the very pleasant walk along the promenade. Even if you don't buy anything this time there is always another chance for a gift for a special occasion or just as a treat for yourself.

The art events are only held on the last Sunday, April to September, so your comments appear out of context as you clearly visited the location when no event was scheduled.
We rely on accurate reviews from our visitors so please review your response after visiting us on an actual event day.

The prom art is well worth a visit. During the summer it is held on the last Sunday of the month. So often it is wet and it is such a shame. You find lots of original arts and crafts. Well worth the walk along the full length of the prom taking in the wonderful views of the bay as well as browsing the many stalls along the way.

Thanks for the review lakelover. I'm afraid that we are at the mercy of the weather but do our utmost to put the event on each time. Just a quick reminder that the last prom art of the 2017 season takes place on Sunday 24th Sept - is it to early to mention Christmas Presents?

This is held every month along the prom, a great selection of art and crafts and worth a visit. Gets very busy but plenty of car parking near the health center at a reasonable price. Cafe on the prom for lite bites which is located near the old pool.

Thanks for the excellent review and the reminder that its free (unless you can't resist some of the fantastic work on show which you do have to pay for). Nice timing for the review as this month we're having an extra event on 16th July - 3 days time.
