Never thought I'd review a bridge but this one is pretty impressive - great design and lights up at night. A great place to get views along the Tyne and snapshots of the other bridges, even has little seating areas to chill. It's split into...More

Newcastle or Gateshead Tyneside. One of the bridges over the Tyne in these parts. Bridges, Sage and Baltic. Great hotels, pubs and restaurants. Sunday market with lots of street food. If you're from outside the north of England don't even try to understand the accent.

We were lucky enough to see the bridge open both in the morning and the night. We took a tour of the bridge and was impressed with the clever engineering.
