Decided to hire one of Steve's boats for a few hours to cruise along the river. Steve was very friendly and accommodating, couldn't have asked for anyone better to show us the ropes before setting of onto the River. We had such a great time and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Fowey.

We had a fantastic afternoon on the water with fowey boat hire. Owners are pleasant and very helpful, the boats are super easy to manoeuvre and booking is extremely easy and fowey harbour a d river are very picturesque.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for letting us go out right at the end of the day at 4.30 yesterday. We had a lovely time and your kindness made our day. So beautiful out on the water, looking out to sea, and a completely different view of Fowey. Thank you!

We hired a boat from Steve for a morning and had a great time. From the start it was just such an easy enjoyable experience, easy to book, really simple explanation on how to use the boat and then a great place to spend a few hours on a boat. Would definitely recommend and will be using again, thanks Steve.

We hired a boat from Steve and team for a couple of hours and had a fantastic afternoon on the river. The boat was really easy to drive and there's plenty to see - two hours was pretty much spot on, including ten minutes or so drifting to eat some lunch. The team were friendly and helpful and I'd definitely recommend it. Highlights included a massive cruise ship, some eagrets and a pair of kingfishers. Great value for money as well, and good to have the flexibility of choosing the length of hire, which some of the other companies don't offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three hours of boat hire on the river. We’d dropped into the office on the off-chance they had something available as we hadn’t pre-booked. The staff were really friendly and helpful, giving us a suggested route to follow with places we could stop-off if we wanted.
The boat was really easy to use and after some initial instruction we were on our way, exploring the river from Readymoney Bay down to Bodinnick. Stopped of at Mixtow for a cream tea (highly recommended!) but wanted to spend the rest of the time on the water as it was such fun.

Another good few hours on the River Fowey, with Fowey Boat Hire.
Make sure you hire close to high tide to ensure full benefit of the water, visiting Pont Pill being the treat.

Was a lovely way to spend an hour with our two boys in this beautiful spot in Cornwall. The boats are really simple to operate and the owner is an absolute gentleman, helpful, polite and friendly.

Very easy to arrange and Steve is so helpful, experienced and friendly. Beautiful morning on the river with the family. Good fun, even for those with little experience of boats. Would highly recommend.
