We went out on Dan’s boat four times whilst staying in Fowey. As we are looking at getting a boat of our own, Dan showed us around the area and we visited some lovely beaches and swimming spots, as well as heading to some other coastal villages for an obligatory ice cream!
Dan knows the area well and was pleasant and easy going. Definitely a great afternoon out, our dog Poppy was even welcome on the boat!

What can I say? Dan is articulate and extremely knowledgeable. The course content was explained so it was easy to take in. The practical was absolutely amazing and showed how skillfuland patient Dan is. I cannot recommend Dan and his company highly enough. Don't wait and think about it. Do it!! You will definitely not be disappointed. Thank you Dan. I will definitely be back. Brilliant weekend.

Dan the skipper was really fun and easy going which adds to the experience of seeing the fabulous Cornish coast in all its glory. We had lunch on a beach which was only accessible by boat and even the Cornish weather was brilliant for us. Highly recommend the full day charter as you can get to some lovely harbour villages where it would take you an age to get to in the car plus there is no better way to arrive than by boat.

We went on the 6 hour rib tour with 4 adults 5 kids and a dog. Needles to say every second of it was amazing. Dan, the skipper , was a really nice guy and made sure we were all safe and enjoying ourselves. He dropped us off at different little towns on the coast and let us do our own thing. An excellent way to spend a day in my opinion. Loved every second of it despite getting a bit of water splashed up in our faces ! 👍🏼

We simply could not have had a better time. Dan was brilliant - we did the 3hr private charter and loved every second. We saw the amazing Fowey harbour and most beautiful parts of the nearby Cornish coast. We learnt about the local area, had a great laugh with Dan and the kids loved the experience. We went to a secluded cove/beach area where we (tried to) paddle board. Our kids 8 and 5 years had a fabulous time in the water and then we went on a tour of the river. Dan told us lots of helpful local suggestions re food and sights and the kids loved the ice cream shop recommended.

We have had fantastic days out with Fowey Maritime Centre. Dan always tailors the day to suit our family: stopping for us to swim in the sea and helping us to explore the beautiful Cornish Coast. Our kids really enjoyed the ringo behind the boat. Would thoroughly recommend FMC for a day out.

8 of us went on fantastic cruise around St Austell Bay in Cornwall. Sunshine, great captain & crew. Swam in clear blue water, saw giant jelly fish, relaxed on boat eating pastries & drinking coffee. You will love this trip.

We had an amazing day with Dan and Russ on the Water Lily private charter today. The guys really looked after us, showing us all the local sites and then stopping for delicious pastries and a fantastic swimming session. Everyone even had a turn driving the boat. Thoroughly recommend this trip.

Wonderful sightseeing boat trip around one of the most beautiful bays in Cornwall.
Knowledgeable skipper told us all about history of the area. The marine and birdlife was amazing.
