This is a lovely attraction in the heart of Fowey but won’t take long to get round, an hour maybe but an hour well spent.
Nice staff but probably needs to be a couple of quid cheaper to get more stars. Definitely worth a visit though 👍🏻👍🏻

When coming here I was expecting a small aquarium with local fish like others such as ilfracombe aquarium. What we got was a overcrowded room surrounded by grubby fish tanks filled with the fish I expected but with next to no info about the fish. The tanks were set out like ones in a pet shop and not of ones to mimic the environment of the fish. No staff on hand to deal with the bad treatment of the poor creatures being played with by kids except one bloke who sat permanently on his phone. The conger eel was huge but simply far to big for the 2 ft of water he lives in. This place showed no welfare concerns towards its creatures and is a bad example of how a local aquarium can be run! Sorry but avoid!

It is small and it is a bit pricey, BUT it is interesting to see the creatures that are found locally. Star fish fascinating, conger eel impressive as were the crabs. Worth a visit.

Waste of money. Overpriced for what takes only ten mins or so to look around. Very dingey and small dirty tanks. Felt sorry for the fish who would be so much happier where they should be.
Staff member seems disinterested, no hello or thank you. Also shame on the family in there who thought it was their right to hog the place. No masks and no distancing and certainly no respect for anyone else!
Save your money for a pastie instead!

This little aquarium is fascinating. It’s got lots of local creatures in it, and we spent a good hour there looking at all the crabs, lobsters, and fish. There is also a conga eel which was awesome to behold. I think people sometimes confuse this kind of aquarium with the larger commercialised ones you get in big towns and cities. Well I much prefer this type of aquarium. It’s well worth a visit to see what is living around our local shoreline. Fascinating.

Can see more fish in a fish shop...
Paid £10 for the honour of the about 9 tanks in a dark and dingy 10x10 room
Couldn’t see anything had a massive leak!
Talk about tourist trap!
Never again
Took about 5 minutes to walk around
Couldn’t even take pictures all fish were the same

Our 4 year old really enjoyed the fish on show and the area where he could touch some of them as he is very hands on with learning and found this very interesting

There are lots of advertising boards for this in the towns, calling it 'unmissable'....I wouldn't agree I'm afraid. Very friendly staff but very overpriced (£14 for 2 adulta and a child) for a ten minute look at the tanks, whole place needs a bit of a clean up.

Some good fish on display. However the tanks were in dire need of cleaning out. Why it was not done during lockdown is beyond me. The whole place needs a, serious revamp.

We went as a family of four (two kids aged 11 & 9) it cost us £14 to get in and took us about 10 mins to walk around! Not worth the money I'm afraid.
