We were here very early on a Sunday morning so no interiors were open but we walked around the grounds and around the front of the house. Very lovely a building and a beautiful setting just outside enniskillen town.

Castle Coole is similar in look to Florence Court house when viewed from the outside. Once again inside, though, there is quite a difference. Both are heavily into symmetry with the use of false doors and the like but Castle Coole is more opulent. We took the guided tour with the very personable and knowledgable Andrew. He brought the house... More

Informative tour. Very helpful and friendly guide. Liked the building and information provided during the tour of the house. Had a nice stroll in the grounds.

Had a wonderful morning wandering the grounds and stables having walked from Enniskillen. Nice little shop and plenty of spots to take in the views of the lake and surrounds. The house is beautiful and well worth a visit.

Lovely parkland for walking, very pleasant countryside. The house is interesting and a guided tour takes one hour. £3.50 into the grounds, £5.00 into the house. That's £17.00 per couple. JOIN THE NATIONAL TRUST, you save a fortune each year

Although this house is definitely worth a visit it's not my favourite. Very grand. A lot of gold and ostentatiousness. However feels quite cold and echoey. The guide was good but seemed a little nervous and couldn't answer all the questions. Perhaps she was new. The tearoom was very nice and all staff were friendly and helpful.

This National Trust property is different to others in that there are no formal gardens to view. The grounds and walks however are lovely. You would however be slightly disappointed if you only came and saw those. The house tour is something else! The vast rooms decorated in 18th century splendour- Versailles chairs, priceless antiques. The NT guide was very... More
