This historic site houses two museums, Fermanagh County Museum and The Inniskillings Museum and Fermanagh Visitor Information Centre. Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful castle with plenty to view. Cafe is exceptional and I’d highly recommend the toasted sandwiches with salad. Excellent food and service from friendly helpful staff. Lovely shop area and plenty of leaflets about local things to do.

Tried to book onto some events only to discover that the online booking system doesn’t work.
Incredible that a prestigious public body can’t organise an online booking system. Such incompetence from public servants is hard to fathom.
As a result I didn’t book & went elsewhere.

We spent a good couple of hours in the castle and museums, for the princely sum of £4 per head. The way the histories are presented is really interesting and not at all "dusty". We could easily go back next time we are in the area and not run out of interesting features. A real bonus is the staff - Enniskillen seems to specialise in really friendly folks, but this was exemplified in the castle. The chap who was maintaining the spotless cleanliness was also happy to exchange greetings and news. A must if you are in the area.

Exceptional. A wonderful experience. It was interesting to see the history and so glad I was able to visit places my grandfather did as a boy growing up

Enniskillen castle sits in a small town in Northern Ireland. It has a formidable stone structure which rises from the surrounding landscape to demonstrate it’s invincibility

Enniskillen Castle good value for money to visit. Plenty to see in the Castle and grounds. Cafe served lovely food. The staff in the Castle reception were very friendly and so were the cafe staff.

The castle is a museum with exhibits on the history of Enniskillen and the various regiments hailing from this area. Staff are great, the gift shop is small, but what is there is great. The castle also has copious picnic spots by Lough Erne.

Very much history written from the unionist perspective but still very interesting. Would have liked a more balanced view on history.

The displays from World War 1 really good. Enjoyed a cuppa at the cafe while there, followed by a walk around the outside of the castle.
