The Mid-Norfolk Railway runs Heritage Steam and Diesel train services from the market town of Dereham to Wymondham in Norfolk, just outside Norwich. It is run entirely by volunteers, and operates a number of Special Events throughout the year.

Positives, staff were terrific, enthusiastic and friendly. Steam locamotive was terrific. Negatives, walk from Wymondham town to Abbey station needs a safe path for young children, too much traffic on this narrow lane. Perhaps a signposted route through parks and / or churchyard would help....More

Hi we had premium tickets last year it was so worth it we could park at the station and we got a lovely mug each as well as a bell, bag hot chocolate and a cookie and also the seats on the train were huge and very comfy 😊

I'd say 40 mins but a brill experience! Get the premier tickets if you can! Worth them just for tge mug and bag
