    Lido Tennis Magnificent
Every Tuesday morn, my friends & I meet up for a few sets of oldies tennis. The Park is always open, courts always clean & swept & the games are always played in the right spirits and fun. Big thank you to the group who raised the money to renovate the courts and the park teams who look after the stunning parklands and gardens. Better than Wimbledon & Roland Garros any day 😎🎾👍

Beautiful outdoor pool, ring ahead to check access times and booking arrangements.
Fabulous, enclosed, outdoor pool, surrounded by trees and parkland, loads of room to swim about. Heated to 21 Celsius , comfortable enough once you are in. Water is slightly saline, not too chemical tasting, not as buoyant or salty as the sea. If "Spa" water, it has been well diluted and treated. Plenty of room for families, splash zone for toddlers, picnic tables and ice cream counter, basic changing/shower facilities with £1 lockers. For a simple swim was a bit pricey, but it was a special treat for me, so I didn't mind paying a premium. However, the booking procedure was impossible: the website wanted me to download an app, (I'm just a passing tourist) then didn't give a booking option for a swim. I called a week ahead: you can only book 2 days in advance. Still nothing on website. Eventually I spoke to someone on the phone who said booking was unnecessary just for a swim. When I arrived at the turnstile, I was asked if I had a booking. And the pool was virtually empty on a school holiday lunchtime. I had a fabulous time, but can understand why it's empty to all but the most determined. Can they keep going like this, or is it doomed?

Fun family day in the Summer Sun!
We had a great time at Droitwich Lido, we booked online as we had spotted this establishment the day before on a trip to the park, unfortunately it was fully booked. We booked 11.30-1.30 slot, & arrived around 11.10 which a queue had already started to form. Adults £8.50 & Junior £6.50. Parking was £3 for our stay but would recommend £4 all day so you can access the park later. Under 8s need to be accompanied by an adult & are given a wristband. Bookings are checked in manually by name. There is a small amount of things to purchase from the desk, ie swim goggles, inflatable ball. You can also hire deck chairs but many people had took their own camping chairs & picnic blankets. We were lucky enough to get a bench to put on our towels when we got there. We were fortunate it was a warm day so the cold pool was refreshing. Further to rear of the pool was a splash area for small children. We were unaware you could take in your own food, but we purchased some snacks from the cafe, coffee & ice cream too. Lockers are £1 if needed, & access to changing rooms & shower facilities. 10 mins before the end of our session we were given a polite reminder it was coming to the end, giving us enough time to shower & change. Overall a great experience, clean facilities, friendly staff, easy booking & accessibility.

    Lovely lido would recommend
First time trying the lido whilst on holiday the changing rooms were clean staff friendly and the pool was great! So nice to try an outdoor pool! The salt water was a great natural feature nice to come out of a pool not drenched in chlorine although some is used. If I lived here I’d use this quite often!the locals are lucky to have this lovely pool for health and well-being! :) the booking system was easy 10/10 for everything!

Great place for a sunny day
A lovely place to visit on a sunny day and the temperature of the water wasn't too cold. Not overly crowded, due to the booking system.. Some of the areas looking a little grubby and uninviting. Could do with a good jetwash.

    Delightful cold water swim.
A group of us visited the Lido for a Sunday morning cold water swim; we were greeted by a delightful and polite young lifeguard; he booked us in and checked that we were familiar with cold water swimming and gave us some additional guidance specific to the venue. The changing rooms, showers and toilets were clean and spacious. We finished off in the Cafe with a warm drink and snack. Delightful venue with lovely staff.

Amazing 100% recommend and lovely cafe next door / conjoined
Amazing would 100% reccomend lovely food in the cafe and drinks before your session i suggest arriving early and you can go for a walk in the park section it’s a nice forestry park and the cafe is so nice. Also the cafe has a outside which overlooks the pool which is quite nice and would book in advance for summer since it will be fully booked very quickly if hot but we went when it was more colder and it was lovely nice cold water and salt water like the sea and it very nice and long and has a good depth. The staff are nice and they have changing rooms and lockers. The pool has a bigger depth in the middle and shallower in both sides but a very nice and long pool and also quite wide length wise. Nice pool and really refreshing but couldn’t get hands on tickets in the summer since it was so booked out. But i can see if you go in summer the water is really cold and refreshing so would be perfect.

A very lovely place to visit on a sunny day
A really lovely atmosphere. The facilities were all clean and well presented, the staff were helpful and the pool itself was lovely and i thoroughly enjoyed my trip. I'd say it is worth booking in advance, it was fairly busy and we were quite lucky to get in, having not booked in advance. Will do that for future trips, for sure. The only issue at all, and it is VERY minor - every toilet roll dispenser in the women's toilet was jammed, bar one. Might be worth swapping out for a different design.

    Perfect experience.
I am travelling in my campervan and was desperate for a swim, but the weather had been awful. Saw Droitwich Spa Lido was nearby, and booked for the 6pm adults only session. It was a beautiful evening, and the outdoor swim was perfect. It was lovely swimming outdoors in this 40m, salt water lido looking up at the trees and sky. It wasn't too busy, so easy to swim, and the changing rooms and showers are decent and clean. I'd been involved in the campaign to reopen the lido in the town I lived in, and DSL shows what is possible. Well worth a visit with our without a family.

Love Droitwich Lido - you feel as though you've been on holiday!
Yes it was a cool day but when the sun came out, amazing The 2hr bookings really work and time to enjoy some coffees & snacks at Little Al's.

So disappointed with the splash pad area. None of the floor sprinklers or pads worked & waited more than 10 minutes for the water to come through the arches & tall mast. When the water did finally come through, it ran for about 5 minutes. Total waste of a journey & wouldn't recommend it. 😒 Tried to book the Lido August 8th, told it was fully booked but not a soul in the place when we arrived. Filled up in the afternoon & their water ran continuously through their splash area! Droitwich Council, get a grip & up your game.
