Ander the instructor adapted rapidly to the needs of a mixed ability adult group. He provided appropriate routes while always paying due attention to safety. A relaxed and enjoyable experience. Thanks.

I am a Scout Leader and organised a days canoe trip from Kerne Bridge to Biblins (where we were camping) with Forest Adventure for 21 Scouts and Leaders. Edward was very helpful with the organisation and was able to help with transport to the start point and Neil and Amy, the instructors, were absolutely fantastic and made the day really instructive and fun for the Scouts. Also good value versus some of the other quotes I got. I would definitely recommend using Forest Adventure if you are looking to do activities in River Wye/Forest of Dean area.

Recently did the raft building as part of a stag weekend. Great experience, we all really enjoyed the afternoon.

We had anticipated that we would all fail in building the rafts and it would become a bit of a shambles.. but the staff made sure we had enough support to make some working rafts which really added to the experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic day out on the Symonds Yat Adventure with Jason. Jason was a great instructor - very knowledgable about the area, and enthusiastic about his climbing and caving. We started by climbing a couple of rock faces - one easier, one really hard (Very Severe in climbing terms). None of thought that we would make it up the VS climb, but Jason was very encourgaing and eventually we all did. We then did an abseil down, a traverse across and then into some caves. We ended up crawling through holes that we never thought we would fit through! Not a day for the faint-hearted, but very enjoyable and challenging.
Remember to take a packed lunch in a back pack, and wear old clothes (and knee pads if you have them) - you will get dirty.

I cannot speak highly enough of Forest Adventure Ltd - from start to finish the entire experience was amazing. Maria was so helpful when I first rang and had 101 questions for her, booking was really easy and communication all the way through was excellent. They really bent over backwards to help us. We were a group of 4 Mums looking for some adventure for ourselves and our 10 year olds after their school residential got cancelled due to Covid. We booked a multi-activity day with rock climbing and abseiling in the morning and canoeing in the afternoon, and it was an absolute blast. Jason was a brilliant climbing instructor who was highly professional and kept us all very safe whilst having a lot of fun. He knew exactly what to say to the more anxious kids to get them climbing higher than they ever believed they could. The forest area is so beautiful and I'm so glad the rain held off so we could enjoy it to the max. The canoeing in the afternoon was a total scream - Mark is one of the best guides I've ever had on any adventure trip - he gave excellent instruction, particularly to the kids who were canoeing like pros at the end of it and he had such a great sense of humour. One thing I have to mention is that Mark was so respectful and considerate of all the other river users which is more than I can say of Monmouth Canoe whose instructors were rather rude and took little care of others using the river and the exit to the car park. Safe to say I'm very happy we found Forest Adventure, thank you so much Maria, Jason and Mark for giving us an experience we'll never forget!

We had half a day out canoeing as a hen party and it was lovely :-) The host that showed us around was very friendly and easy-going which made us feel relaxed and able to enjoy ourselves. The awesome pub at the end of the journey was also a nice surprise :-)

The instructors were fantastic. Clear, concise instructions with lots of fun and friendly banter thrown in. The group learnt new skills, were encouraged to challenge themselves and push themselves to try just a little bit more whilst supported and encouraged when the climbing was hard. Thank you. The admin was easy and efficient also, making booking simple.

Brilliant Brilliant day. Went in the pouring rain and experienced a torrential downpour in the afternoon but still had a great day. We did a whole day, guided by Jason and abseiled, caved and climbed. My 3 boys 14, 11 and 8 and us parents all enjoyed the experiences and always felt totally safe. Jason was brilliant with the kids, knowledgeable, patient, professional and in control at all times. His voice and manner are totally calming! Very good value for money in a beautiful location. Loved the way we had practice runs on flat ground first, whilst Jason set the equipment up as really felt I learnt the technique. Great communication from Maria and felt like customer rather than a number!
