We had a great visit to this museum during half term. We all enjoyed being able to sit in many different planes and trying on the helmets. We would visit again. Thank you

Many independent, volunteer-run aviation museums could take a lead from this one. Firstly, you can sit in the cockpits of about half the aircraft, and twiddle with yokes, buttons and knobs to your heart's content. Secondly (and not unconnected), the place is not over-run with...More

What a fantastic little museum. We spent a lovely morning here having found it by pure chance, and had a terrific time looking at the exhibits and chatting to the knowledgeable volunteers. We'll look forward to returning!

Children enjoy sitting in the cockpits of real aeroplanes & fiddle with the controls. Also an old Yellow Bus and Fire Engine to explore too.The exhibits are outside but can shelter inside the vehicles if necessary!

Very knowledgeable volunteers run this small museum. Good range of aircraft and if the cockpit is open in you go. Ideal for youngsters

We visited for our son's 11th birthday and this museum is a hidden gem. There is so much for the kids to enjoy, nearly all of it interactive. A double decker bus, fire engine and a raft of planes to climb into and play with....More

The cockpit is accessible-but the pilot's seats are not.. If we have a Vulcan open day we make special arrangements when it is possible to access the pilot's seats. We don't know when this will be but unlikely this year.
