Compact but extremely interesting and entertaining museum. Good range of cockpits to scramble into and lots of information and history of the individual aircraft. Would be enjoyed by both young and young at heart. Keep up the good work.

On our visit we found almost every aircraft cockpit was open to sit in. There are two viewing platforms to watch the movements at the airport next door. Also a couple of simulators to have a go on. The staff here are most helpful and...More

First off this place is a little run down but don't let that put you off. For only £6 adult entry fee it houses a collection of civil and military fixed and rotary aircraft. Some of these are only the front end but in a...More

We love this place and went in April for my sons birthday party. It is very hands on and lots of fun for children but informative for adults as well. Very reasonable entrance fee and lovely staff

This is by no means a fast-paced, hi-tech museum and if that's what you're searching for you may well be disappointed. It is however, very hands-on and perfect for a bit of old-fashioned, use your imagination entertainment. My son had a great time climbing in...More

The cockpit is accessible-but the pilot's seats are not.. If we have a Vulcan open day we make special arrangements when it is possible to access the pilot's seats. We don't know when this will be but unlikely this year.
