Come here for a Christening party which was booked back in November. On arrival to the pub we were packed in to a small barn where not enough staff to cover both bars. We were waiting 45 minuets for coffees along with receiving the wrong...More

Had cheese garlic bread, haloumi and soup in a lunch deal of 3 for £10. Well prepared, tasty, good service - all you'd want for. Served extra drinks at table with meal which is always a plus. All good.

This is quite an interesting pub and was busy. The staff were very helpful but we had pizzas which they bake on the premises and mine was burnt underneath and tasted really bitter so I really couldn't eat it.

The food was always available and well prepared. The food was hot and tasty with ample portions for the price. The market vegetables were a bit sparse, but the Chicken and Ham Pie was very large and filling. We ate and drank there 3 nights...More

Lovely old building with interesting historical facts on the walls. Little bars off a long courtyard with plenty of seating outside. Staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Decent choice of real ales and wines. Busy on a Tuesday night with a good mix...More

The title says it all. Grotty pub. Tired old décor. Disgusting toilets. Questionable clientele. Amazed this place survives but when you look at some of the customers , you clearly see that the pub is probably their second home (& probably better than their home).
