- lc882017Bournemouth, United Kingdom30 contributionsVery disappointingWe’ve visited before over the years to see Santa! Price has increased a lot so was expecting at the very least the same experience we’ve had before. Very disappointed with this years visit, Santa was nice enough but the gifts were awful. All 3 children got the same basic soft teddy… my 12 year old wasn’t impressed!! Luckily the kids enjoyed the soft play area, wasn’t much else to do and the staff didn’t engage or even look in the Christmas spirit. Not good value at all. We won’t be returning which is a shame.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 19 December 2022
- Fiona O3 contributionsSoft play needing overhaulHave visited here a few times now, always in the out of season time to capitalise on the quieter time to access soft play. The large main play frame has great potential but needs a good deep clean as lots of areas including the gaps between equipment look grubby and there are things like torn foam balls, rubbish, dust balls collecting in empty spaces which I imagine is common in soft plays - however it just needs a decent spring clean!!! On many occasions the ball shooters or light up walls have been out of action which for the price is disappointing. The baby/young children section however is frankly disgusting because of the cheap foam floor mats as you enter. These are black and grubby from looking like they’ve never been replaced. A real shame as the actual equipment itself and the size of the whole soft play is fantastic.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 23 February 2023
- Stuart W2 contributionsAwful and wildly inappropriate children's show! The kids theatre show aimed at children 5-10 was awful! I really question the ethics of the park owners to let this be their feature show for kids! The whole show was just encouraging the use of social media for kids and them getting more and more followers on Instagram, Tick tock and earning a Twitter blue tick. How this is appropriate for children not even old enough for a mobile phone, escapes me! The jokes were horrible, awkward, not funny and also not aimed at kids, things like having stretch marks and picking on a poor Dad from France saying how sorry they were that that was where he was from. This show should be re-thought straight away! It's a shame that this was our take away from the visit which was otherwise a nice park.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 10 April 2023
- ann s5 contributionsOld tired and datedBeen to A inW since the 90 With 6 grandkids and today my Great grandson. Very Disappointed has really gone down hill. Place Needs a good makeover and the pets corner which had no pets only 2 donkeys stank. Very few staff no Alice and overall needs major investment especially for the high ticket prices. Staff were brilliant but everything else was old tired and dated.Visited June 2023Written 28 June 2023
- Chloe V18 contributionsFun day out for small childrenThis park is good for young children 3-6ish. The price is quite high as any child over 3 pays the same as an adult even if they are too short to go on all the rides. Make sure you put your car reg into the computer because if you don't there is an automatic £100 fine. There is no where to get a meal so make sure you bring a decent picnic, looks as though there used to be a pizza place but this is all shut up and used as a storage area. You can buy hotdogs, sandwiches, drinks and ice creams. There are plenty of picnic tables near the rides and also down near the play park area. There are a couple of rides (quad bikes and tractors) which are an additional £1.50, I think you pay enough to get in without paying extra for these rides. The show was cringey as they wanted you to get up and dance and even the children didn't want too, I have seen better shows here before. The children spent ages looking for gold nuggets in the sand- as it is advertised you win a prize- the prize is just a sticker, so you might want to manage expectations on that one! What is good as there is hardly anyone there, so there is no queueing for rides at all and the rides run even if you are the only one on there. I would imagine it is good for children who have special needs or do not like the noise and queuing usually involved in theme parks. This is the second time we have been and both times in school holidays and both just as quiet. All staff we met were friendly and helpful.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 24 July 2023
- Emma_447Lightwater, United Kingdom76 contributionsOverpriced day outWe visited in the summer holiday and although our toddler enjoyed it, we were disappointed. Some of the rides were wet from overnight rain but there was no attempt to dry the seats. The whole place looked very tired with broken items or run down looking attractions. One member of staff on the caterpillar train was fantastic, making sure all the children were happy with the colour of their carriage and helping them in and out. Another member of staff followed our son out of the ice cream shop when he ran out, checking he was running to a parent. Other members of staff however were moody looking and didn’t interact. One member of staff was slyly smoking near the ponies away from the designated smoking area. Overall our son enjoyed it, but it was very overpriced for a run down park with little customer service/interaction.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 22 August 2023
- TraceyhodgsonDover, United Kingdom8 contributionsLovely day out with kidsAdventure wonderland was great for us as our kids don’t like big rides. We spent the full day there. The indoor play area is great. The rides are a little tired and the park as a whole could do with a little updating, however we had a lovely day. The maze is very big and took us a while. Just be mindful there are a lot of stinging nettles in there which resulted in my arm getting stung. The staff are all lovely and all very friendly, if you have children who prefer a quieter setting and don’t like big rollercoasters this is a lovely little hidden gem. We didn’t queue at all which given it’s the middle of august and summer holidays was a lovely surprise. Pony corner was a definite favourite of ours. Would recommend for a lovely family day out with little onesVisited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 22 August 2023

We went as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children aged 8&5. Our 5 year old found it okay, my 8 year old found it babyish. It is definitely more for toddlers and younger children. We had an issue with one ride which states that "passengers under 1.1m must ride accommodated with a 16 year old or older" my son is over 1.1m yet wasn't allowed to ride with his older brother. We spoke with a manager which agreed the signage is incorrect and will be replaced for next season. He mentioned that a number of other customers have also pointed this out. - Kilm41 contributionsLots to keep young kids entertainedAs some of the other reviews pointed out, the park is looking a little tired and needs a lick of paint. However, its still a good day out for kids 8 and under. There’s lots to do, there’s an amazing outdoor playground and a really good indoor soft play area. The maze also kept the kids busy for half an hour. Add to that a bouncy castle and trampoline outside. There are also ponies to pet and ride. We went on August bank holiday Monday and did not have to queue for long for rides. Yes Peppa pig world is a step up but I remember queuing an hour for a 2 minute ride there. We didn’t queue for more than 20 minutes. Regarding food options, there is a cafe serving hot dogs, jacket potatoes and paninis. An on-site pizzeria provides freshly made pizzas. It won’t win any awards for being shiny and new but I’d say it was worth going as lots to keep the kids entertained for the day and not much queuing involved!Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 30 August 2023

Do not go here!! If the staff forget to ask you to input your car registration number you will end up with a £100 parking fine! Not worth the entry fee for a soft play area in a rundown dirty building. All rides, park and maze closed.

Fun! The rides and slides were amazing, the maze was fun, (we got lost) We went on every ride. My 7 year old really had a good time! Food was amazing, the indoor soft play was tidy, a bit loud for smaller children. The toilets were good. Now, after your reading this, they’ve gotten rid of most of their rides but a great experience!

The whole park is in need of major refurbishment.
There are signs of neglect everywhere.
The rides are all very careworn and in need of maintenance.
Do NOT bother with the gold digging, all you get is a small sticker.
Most of the ice cream outlets were closed and the choice in the open one was poor.
On this visit the cafe was unable to cook anything other than hotdog sausages.
Most of the seating that used to be available in the park has gone, apparently it had all become rotten and has not been replaced.
The only plus side to this visit was the friendliness of the staff.
I would not recommend this to anyone, it is not worth the money charged.

It took my 9 year grandson for a day out, the only thing he was really interested in was the maze and the indoor Aventure play park. He felt the rides were a little young for him. I don’t think it helped that he chucked it down with rain, so we only spent three hours there.
When we arrived, I was asked to put my registration number in on their iPads. so I’m not quite sure why today I’ve had a parking charge notice for £100.00. come when it clearly says on their website. Parking is free.

Great trip for my family and great value for money.
My kids love visiting this place and we've done so every year for the last 5 years.
Yes, Paulton's Park has better rides, but
- Paulton's charges £222 for a family of four
- Paulton's has 30-45 minute waits for some rides

I’m sorry to say but even though I’m local.. this “theme park” really does need some TLC.
- the park is very tired, weeds all surrounding rides and on rides (caterpillar ride! Ver bad) paint flaking off everything.. rides.. fence panels.. buildings, wood structures .. all needs some serious refresh and gardening. Lots of plants in rides are “dead” but left in..
- the rides - are “okay” despite being tired but some look “fixed” with epoxy resin (the yo-yo ride), rusty wheels on the caterpillar, flaking off paint on the elephants. The park really does need some addition of newer rides as there is quite a small selection for a “full days activity”
-strange communication - my toddler 2 1/2 can go on a trampoline.. but not a bouncy castle?! Very strange rules not governed by any “formal height restrictions etc” and having been to the park at end of last year he could go on the bouncy castle?? All very driven by who is running which rides.
- the small water area is rusty, faded paint and weeds growing around the enclosure.
- the theatre shows - nobody communicates the timings and what’s on (nothing in the programme).. and I’m afraid very very distasteful and verging on somewhat cringe! Needs some serious improvement.
- the positive … the indoor soft play is excellent and very good (we spent more time in here than outside given the small selection of rides)
The park COULD be great for 6 and under’s (no rides much for any kid above that) but really does need some TLC and improvements. Given it is still £22 an adult .. I would rather pay the additional £20 and head to Peppa pig world because the difference in quality, experience, environment, cleanliness is the opposite end of the spectrum sadly to Alice in wonderland.
Come on Alice - get some DIY and gardeners in at least!

We went here today and found it disappointing. Very run down and needs a good refresh and reset.
After a short while another manager came over to us whom was very abrupt and rude causing an issue with my husband over the sign. After we had believed we have sorted this with the previous manager and wasn't sure as to why it was starting up again. Other customers see us in the park and stated they also agree that the signage is incorrect. Communication seems to be an issue with the staff here. It put a downer on our day, I had to ask for an apology which they reluctantly gave and then walked away.
It's a shame as this park could have big potential if the team knew how to communicate.

We’ve been twice - family of 4 last summer & dad with 2 kids this summer. Great value for money, free parking, moveable queues not too busy, loads of rides to go on and can keep going on them; the soft play is great for all ages and the external park is loved by our kids. Horse riding on offer at extra payment. Our kids love this place !

Why is this not an entirely smoking free attraction? People smoke with impunity around the site
phil new
Verwood, UK29 contributions
No smoking signs are now in place along with designated smoking area signs just to the right of the wild thing cafe.
The management now proactive with asking people they find smoking around the park to either extinguish their cigarettes or move to the designated area. This also includes vaping and electronic cigarettes.
Unfortunately you get disrespectful smokers who think they have the right to smoke anywhere they like even around our people's children.

This is a question to the management. having read the horrendous review's recently, what are you doing about it? I've been bought a pass for the spring summer & I'm slightly anxious about it! Should I be?

Try and get a refund! Going once is bad enough and I only paid £10 for my family of 4 as it was a Facebook offer! I’ve just posted a review from my visit today on the main page that should appear shortly.

Yes lots of animals to see and hold, you can also take him/her on lots of rides if your holding them, a great soft play area and a few nice outside play parks.

Apologies for the delay in answering your question.
As I recall we didn't pay for any rides after paying admission.
Would advise taking own drinks as prices we thought were very high for bottled water.
