About
Lady Kentmores is an Antique shop with a difference, we stock all those normal antique shop stalwarts from fine porcelain to jewellery but we also are proud to deal in the more unusual side of the trade too from shrunken heads and medical oddities to fairground antiques. This is because owner George Johnson ( TV antiques expert, writer & treasure hunter) has a mission to bring a bit of fun & showmanship to the antiques trade,Every corner of the shop is jam packed with items of curiosity and interest, it is because of this that the shop has featured on television and in the press many times. The shop has also made the finals of the BBC Home & Antiques Best Antiques Shop in the UK!That's not a bad recommendation to have.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bra we shop, crammed full of interesting objects to relive times gone by. We enjoyed our time in the shop ( more like a mini museum ), and bought a few great items. Worth a visit !

This quirky antiques shop may just be my favourite thing about Callander! Yes it's small but it's crammed full of the most wonderful treasures, everywhere you look there's another quirky curio. The small museum, which only costs a measly pound entrance fee, is full of the weirdest items, from taxidermy to vintage medical items, a laughing chimpanzee to redcoat skulls. Absolutely fascinating! And to top it all off there's a Rob Roy display with a 20min video on a loop. Visit, it's not disappointing!

We stopped off in Callendar on our tour of the Trossachs. There isn't much to see there so this quirky antique shop with its mad, chaotic, fun and fascinating collections was most unexpected and well worth the £1 admission charge.

Quite an assortment of items on display, but if I’m honest - not great. Thought I would find more typically Scottish things, however that was not the case. A rummage around may unearth something if you have the patience.

Too much Trip Advisor hype for this small shop. Prices are high, inventory is low and unappealing. Treat yourself to the Scottish Antique center down the road for a real treasure hunt.

What an amazing shop! It's crammed with all kind of stuff. Coins, silverware, old postcards, radios, weird mask... The owner is amazing and knows a lot about all the items.

My wife and I were exploring the town centre of Callander yesterday and came across this little antique shop.
Curious, we went inside to have a look.
The shop itself is quite small, although they've maximised the use of the space available, as it is absolutely crammed full.
From coins to radios, and about everything else you can think of in between!
(attached photos may give a better idea).
There is a museum section within the shop which one can enter at the cost of £1. Included within the museum is an audio and visual display of 'Rob Roy'.

It was good to find this shop open as on our previous visit to Callander it had been shut. There is a wide range of items for sale but I think that a bit of negotiation is needed to achieve more realistic prices.
There is also a small museum within the shop which costs £1 to gain access.
