What a fab afternoon. My sons and I had never tried surfing before but the team at Big Blue have certainly given us the bug. Everything was great, easy booking system and Gill in the office was friendly and helpful. Great communication when the weather meant we couldn't do our original slot. They moved the session for us and on the day Cyril was super helpful. We had Cerys and Dylan as our instructors and they were great at giving simple, clear advise and instructions and made it lot of fun. Good equipment and warm wetsuits helped us concentrate on learning and having fun. We loved every minute of it and we will certainly be back again. A massive thank you to all of the team.…

An absolutely brilliant first surfing lesson for my two teenage sons and their cousins. They thoroughly enjoyed the session and by the end all four of them were standing up! The instructors were patient and kind and helped all of them individually, ensuring each of them got the maximum out of the lesson. The website and communication with the team was also excellent before hand. I would thoroughly recommend the Big Blue Surf School to anyone thinking about having a go at surfing! Cant rate them highly enough - fantastic surf school and instructors Im a mum with 2 teenage girls and the instructors were so patient (especially with me being not quite so nimble :-) ). We had a couple of days lessons (with the lovely Oscar and Noah) and my kids are now able to surf - the instructors spent lots of time just helping them nail it time and time again and I cant rate them high enough. Felt extremely safe and well looked after at all times so absolutely no need to worry about your kids going in. We also hired wetsuits and boards from them after and the staff are just great and do what ever they can to help. Really great surf school and would highly recommend.…

Cyril and team did such a great job for us this holiday. We had one daughter doing a group lesson and the other doing an adapted surf with Cyril and Harry. Not enough people know about disabled / adapted surfing - great fun to get a wheelchair user out onto the water. They use a wide SUP board and took Kitty for a great afternoon riding the waves. The Big Blue team we’re ultra helpful from my first email to them, and couldn’t have been more adaptable/accommodating once we were there. A big thank you to all of them.…
