The only tunnel Bude has to offer is open to the public free of charge, walk from the Sainsbury's car park to Crooklets Road completely undercover, protected from the elements whilst maintaining your view to the spectacular surroundings of Bude...more

On an overcast day we were looking for attractions in Bude when we stumbled across this tunnel with the wonderful Trip Advisor reviews. Being a very travelled family there is not much that can surprise us but Bude Tunnel exceeded expectations. One of those places...More
We were looking through Trip Advisor for things to do in Bude, as the weather was pretty bad or should I say the usual spring bank holiday weather we expect to ruin any chance of outdoor pursuits, when we happened upon The Bude Tunnel. It...More
You know how a trip to a supermarket on holiday abroad is more exciting, what with those euros and funny foreign languages ? We have always been excited by those shade things that they have abroad to stop your car getting too hot. Well this...More
Spotted this as part of my research for a fun day out. Spent a good ten minutes walking the full length of the tunnel. The tunnel also has exit routes along the path which is great of someone annoying is also taking advantage of the...More

The Bude tunnel has to be seen to be believed. Incasing the visitor in a protective shell from the outside, this tunnel affords safe passage to and from Sainsbury's to the Sainsbury's car park. But that practical description does nothing to convey the majesty of...More
I have walked through this tunnel on a number of occasions, it is the main footpath from Sainsbury's car park to the front of the shop because it is badly designed with the car park behind it! The tunnel is useful for one thing -...More
Some people say they don't like modern architecture but this will make them change their mind.
We actually first discovered the tunnel because we needed to go to the supermarket that it leads to. My family found it a really convenient and fun way to...More
