About
Established in 1979 Shoreline provides extreme sports and adventure races in Bude, North Cornwall, Cornwall and Devon and further afield. We cater for school residential's, youth camps, specialist clubs, families and friends of all ages and all abilities. An example of our range of customers would be:- - Lakefield Junior School's multi-activity week in June - Ivybridge Scouts kayak training - The Robinson family - surfing, rock climbing and archery sessions during their holiday - Ben, Josh and Karl - 3 half-day sessions of kayaking and canoeing on Bude Canal - Penzance Canoe Club surf kayak training - Budehaven school advanced adventure training for sixth form students

We went as a group of 5 (3 of who didn't speak much English!) for sea kayaking with Simon. We had some experience with river kayaking, but not in the sea or waves. Simon is an excellent instructor, taking his time to teach and correct individually. He explained everything simply and ensured everyone had a great time. We will definitely book sea kayaking or another activity again!

We just had 2 full days of activities with Simon and his team - we did coasteering, abseiling, rock climbing and sea kayaking. We were a very large group of 21 people (10 adults) with children between 11-15 years old, and we all had an absolutely fantastic time. Simon and his team aimed the activities at the right level for us and they were brilliant with the kids. The 2 days we spent with Simon were the highlight of our holiday. Highly recommend Shoreline Extreme Sports for fun and adventure in Bude!

I'd been looking for sea kayaking instruction for a while and booked a three hour 1-2-1 session with Simon while on holiday in Bude. The session started at 0630 hours on a beautiful calm sunny day. Simon is very knowledgeable about the area and is an excellent instructor. The session was just what I was after and more. I would highly recommend Simon and his company.

As probably the most scared in my group, Zerran and Emma the instructors made me feel really comfortable constantly reminding me that I didn’t need to continue and I could go around the jumps as there were always alternatives. They constantly gave me tips on how to be safer and how to stop the heaps of water from going in my nose! I felt really safe and it had a really enjoyable time.

As a teenager who had never gone coasteering, was I initially quite scared however after doing it, it’s been something that I would love to do again. This has been due to the support and safety of the instructors and the beautiful location. If I was to be offered to do it again, I would definitely be up to it!

Coasteering with Simon and Sam was great. Fantastic location at Tintagel with jumps and swimming through a cave. Simon and Sam were excellent guides and we had lots of fun. Highly recommend them.

Did the sea kayaking with a small group of friends under the guidance of Zerran and Keiran. It was hard work getting out to the waves each time but when you did catch one, it was great fun! Both Zerran and Keiran gave very clear instructions and brought the whole group together on occasions to give advanced direction to enable us to enjoy the experience even more.
Thanks for a great morning at the Summerleaze Beach. Highly recommended and very good value for money too.

A small group of us did some coasteering and the kyak surfing and it was fantastic. Very well organised but in a low key, non-officious sort of way! We also felt very safe but again, never drowned in rules and health and safety!
Zerran was really knowlegable about the coast line and the tidal situation giving those of us who were up for a challenge the opportunity to test ourselves!
The kyak surfing was really fun - I will definitely be doing that again!

I had the best time I could ever asked for with Simon on a 121 guided climbing trip. Simon is welcoming, knowledgeable and very thoughtful. We went to Wrecker's Slab, where you can see the most beautiful northern Cornwall view. During the climbing I felt safe and taken care of, Simon taught me a lot about climbing and local history. I would 100% recommend it, if you ever Cornwall, or would love to have more fun outdoor, Simon would be the best to get in touch with.

Are there any activities suitable for my daughter who is 7 and my very active son who is 6?
do you have to book? I am staying in croyde but fancy a day out doing some pursuits.

Hi, Thanks for getting in touch. Our activities work with a range of ages but we normally say that 8 years old is the youngest we can cater for. The Canadian Adventure works with a family all paddling the same open canoe but this would be the only thing we would be able to offer. Cheers. Simon
