Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped off here after going to the Monster Slip and Slide. Enjoyable few hours and beach was lovely and clean.
It was quite busy but we found a nice spot to sit
My oldest 2 went into the sea paddle boarding and youngest made sand castles.
We found parking nearby for free but were extremely lucky as most is paid parking and was BUSY.
Would definitely return to this beach in the future.

Bude by far has to be one of the most amazing places I've ever been in Cornwall. I go multiple times a year.

Nice sized beach, especially when the tide is out, flanked on both sides by impressive rock formations. There is a large paid for car park on site along with a couple of cafe / bars. Dog friendly after 1/10.

Another one of Bude’s great beaches. This is a lovely sandy beach and it has great facilities close to the beach, with a couple of nice cafes. Bude really has some great beaches.

We loved this beach, there are restaurants, toilets, life guards and plenty of space on the beach in the summer months. The tide goes right out which leaves even more space. It’s great for body boarding, we had so much fun here. You can get to the Bude Sea Pool easily and there are nice walks up the cliffs if you want. I will visit again without a doubt.

Kept coming to this beach as it was easier to park, and had rocks to explore, but still easy to get to Bude sea pool. Cafe, Toilets, Restaurant all nearby. Lifeguards patrol the beach. Was quite good for body boarding on a good day.

We went for a paddle and walk this evening at Crooklets beach. The tide was high and so the majority of the beach had big stones. I can imagine when the sea is out there is more sand but we didn’t see this.
The beach had a bit of rubbish on it (again people need to learn to use the bins or take litter home).
It was nice to hear some live singing outside the beach cafe but it was disturbed by the dance music played very loud from the bar across the way.
We didn’t eat at the beach cafe but the food other people had on their plates looked amazing. We will probably check this out while we are in Bude.
The walk from Crooklets beach over the headland to Summerleaze beach was very pleasant as the sun went down and paddling in the sea pool was lovely.
All in all it is well worth a visit. Free parking after 6pm but clearly there is free street parking not too far away from the beach if required.
