Partly pebbles and partly sand. You can hire a beach hut while you stay in Bude where you can leave your bits and pieces safely while you're on the beach. Lovely little rock pools when the tide is going out. Nice cafe's to get drinks,...More

I loved Crooklets even though it wasn’t all sandy. The first part of the beach is pebble and stone, with small patches of sand. However, when the sea goes out there is a great expanse of sand which links to Summerleaze and you can walk...More

This beach is just a short walk from the town centre, and, like all the local beaches is clean and perfect for kids.

Just sitting and watching while the sun is shining. Fairly clean for a beach with toilets and showers for the surfers. The car park is a very reasonable 70p and hour. Half a dozen benches provided to sit on and while away the hours, or...More

Other Bude beaches are better this is very stony and a bit dirty looking when the tide is in. Cafes etc not up to much and car park charges exorbitant. However a good place to start a cliff walk in either direction

Good beach with a careful watch being kept on it by a well patrolled lifeguard stand. Good dog walking and a nice cafe overlooking the beach.

We love this beach! Lots of space for little ones to play, great waves for body boarding, rock pools and lots more. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely clean beach. Although there are a lot of pebbles before you reach the sea, there is plenty of sand when the tide is out! This is our first stop when arriving in Bude!

A short walk from Summerleaze beach when the tide is out brings you to Crooklets. Long and sandy/rocky stretch of beach with a play area for children. Small cafeteria also on site.
