Welcome to Cyclexperience Brockenhurst, the most prominent cycling rental and retail hub of the New Forest! You can reach us directly by road or rail, before we send you on one of our suggested routes. Jump on a 'Bike to Beaulieu', go down to the 'Ornamental Woods', visit 'Burley on your Backside' try a tandem for two on the 'Lyndhurst Loop' or take an Electric Bike to the 'Seaside Ride'. Try our FREE GPS cycling app or take one of our free route maps in store. There are over 100 miles of off-road, gravel forest cycling tracks to explore so you are bound to spot some of our favourite characters...Ponies, donkeys, deer, cows and pigs roaming free. Follow in our tyre tracks and make your first exploration into the Forest, just as we did 30 years ago! Session hire rates start from £22 for adults and £9 for kids, with helmets, lock, toolkit and friendly advice all included!

Easy online booking system. Bikes were ready and staff gave us a really warm and friendly welcome. Made sure we were comfortable with the bikes and helped us with finding a suitable route. Bikes looked a little 'used' but were perfectly fine. A really great location as you can park the car and get virtually straight onto a track.

Great to hear you had a positive experience and enjoyed your day. We're starting to replace much of our rental fleet for next year, so (well maintained) bikes are retiring - available to buy as ex-rentals!

Great hire place for bikes, really good quality bikes that felt safe and were good spec! Friendly staff who genuinely want you to have the best time in the new forest and full of tips. Their ride along app was also brilliant!

Despite the weather being less than ideal, the staff, particularly Ollie were great. When we got stranded due to flooding they were understanding when the bikes were back a little late, and even made sure we had plenty of lights for the next day, just in case.
Even with plenty of rain we still had a great time. Thanks!

The cycle experience team were great. Very friendly and didn’t have to wait long on a busy Sunday. Jon recommended us the best routes to take and we found a nice little pub to stop for a drink.

Great day out on the bikes exploring the forest. The hire team were brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable, managed to fix some issues we had with route map app, even refunded the dog trailer fee when it became clear that pooch was NOT up for going out cycling with us!
Great choice of bikes, routes and advice, we will be returning on our next visit.

Extremely helpful staff who ensured that both myself and my wife had the perfect bikes, map & instructions to thoroughly enjoy our day.

Anyone tried ornamental woods route with young children?

Yes 10,5,3
5 and 3 yr olds in tag a longs. It’s a very easy route fairly flat. Not muddy well at least it wasn’t in August. Stunning scenery. 10 yr old is used to cycling so no big deal for her. 15 miles is a long way for a kid who doesn’t cycle much.
I would recommend it but as I say it’s a long way
