- StedleyRotherham, United Kingdom75 contributionsWorth a visit. What the centre lacks in variety and number of shops it makes up in cleanliness, reasonable prices and most importantly for us allows dogs. On a wet and rainy day it offered a perfect venue in which to spend a couple of hours and do some shopping. Would certainly recommend a visit for an hour or two.Thank you for leaving us a review, your feedback means a lot to us. We're pleased that you and your fur friend had a good shopping experience and managed to dodge the wet weather! - Honey W11 contributionsKindness and understanding in PaversMyself and my manager visited Pavers with a resident from a local residential home, on arrival at the shop we were greeted by staff, my manager briefly explained our situation and a sales representative called Emma came to help us with choosing some shoes, our resident was extremely anxious and some challenging behaviour was shown but Emma was totally amazing, I can honestly say that she went above and beyond what I expected . Our shoe shopping experience was great and all the staff so accommodating and very kind . The result was one happy resident with lovely new shoes , he was so pleased with them, we went for coffee and cake to round off a successful afternoon.Thank you for providing us with some outstanding feedback regarding your visit to Pavers. We are very pleased to see that you received excellent customer service from the team in Pavers and we will pass your fantastic comments on to the store.Written 1 May 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited April 2024Travelled on businessWritten 14 April 2024
- YorkiesinDevonExeter, United Kingdom291 contributionsA good place to visit when rainingThank goodness this facility was in the area for our short holiday. The weather was atrocious, it didn’t stop raining for 2 days. The outlet centre is mostly under cover and easy to get around with the usual franchises competing for custom. We expected. It to be crowded but it was very comfortable to walk aroundVisited September 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 9 September 2024
- Paul H4 contributionsOK, I SUPPOSE!OK, I suppose, but not overly impressed. Mall was clean, bright & with good seating, but shops generally disappointed. Also, despite visiting mid-November, when other shopping centres are already fully decorated for Christmas, there was no attempt by the centre owners/managers to make it feel festive, & only one shop had made the effort. Unlikely to visit again.Visited November 2024Travelled with familyWritten 16 November 2024

If you are looking for shelter from Devon's incessant rain then Affinity offers an hour or so of retail therapy. Loads of free parking and some decent stores including Next, Nike and Clarks. Good cookware shop. Large toilets and a couple of places to eat.

We like to plan a weekend away every year in the area and incorporate this place for some shopping, especially the Nike Outlet.
To our disappointment this has now closed to be replaced by Sports Direct, not a great change ad you get a Sports Direct in every town. The Cadbury shop has closed too.
Outside the area is looking very tired and you used to be able to feed the fish but this has also gone.
Don't think we will be coming back here any more, we will find a better one nearer home.

Hi keefnjojo, thank you for your review.
We are disappointed to hear that you don't think you will be returning to Affinity Devon.
Sports Direct has been a popular and welcome addition to the centre - you will find that they sell a range of sporting clothing & accessorises to include top brands such as Nike, Adidas and Asics and we look forward to revealing more exciting new additions soon which we hope you will return to see.

Very quiet, no atmosphere. I feel sorry for the shop assistants having to work in this covid time. We went into very few shops, a lot were shuttered, access with a wheelchair is hit and miss. We maybe spent half an hour here but expected to be a lot longer as led to believe it was much busier and bigger than it was.

Dear Sharon O,
Thank you for your review. As you can probably appreciate, the pandemic has been a difficult time for all and some of our stores have had to operate with less staff and reduced opening hours. Our stores have done a fantastic job during these difficult times and have been commended by many.
As expected - and echoed across the retail industry - footfall is lower than normal and so the centre may appear quieter at times. We are delighted to say however that there are still plenty of customers visiting the centre, and we are seeing increased footfall weekly with more customers now feeling reassured that Affinity Devon is a safe place to shop.
Please could you email devon@affinityoutlets.com regarding your comments on wheelchair access, as we will take this up with the stores. With reference to your comment on 'a lot were shuttered', we only have one store with shutters but we expect that you are referring to stores than may have not been open when you visited, which we have already addressed.
For future reference, our website has a full list of stores at the centre along with a site map so you know what to expect before visiting.
Kind regards,
Centre Management Team

Affinity has always been a relaxed enjoyable safe shopping experience and never over crowded until today. Why do we have to tolerate loud music wherever we go. Even my teenage children could not get out quick enough. Shopping should be sociable and a pleasure. If we want blaring music we would go to a night club. Asda is just as bad. We have many friends, ourselves included now seeking alternative shopping destinations

Dear roger858,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and we're sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your recent visit to us.
The music volume within the centre remains on a set volume throughout the year and is never altered, so we suspect that you visited the centre on a quieter day which would have meant the music would have sounded louder as a result of lower footfall. We will however forward on your comments for further action.
If the music you experienced was within a store, then this would be down to each individual store and you would need to contact them directly to resolve the problem.
Once again, we are sorry to hear that you did not experience an enjoyable visit like you always do, and we ask that you will not let this one visit stop you from visiting Affinity Devon, as we value all our loyal customers.
Kind regards,
Centre Management Team

Visited here on a short break to Devon we are from Cheshire.
My wife and I live very near to the Affinity outlet shopping in Staffordshire and other than a couple of different stores both have much the same things going on.
Unfortunately the prices in the Devon outlet were massively more expensive than the ones near our home hence the 2 stars .
This wouldnt really be too much of a problem but one of the major sports shops in the Devon outlet was nothing more than a huge rip off.
(We have this same store in the outlet near our home)
It just smacks of these stores trying to rip off the tourists.ultimately I would not reccomend a visit here not enough stores and what there is are overpriced.

Bit of a disappointing “outlet” centre. With the exception of the Nike store the centre kind of resembles an early 90s high street in a mediocre town somewhere in England.
Probably not worth spending more than an hour here which would include trying on a few pairs of trainers in Nike then grabbing a coffee from Costa before heading back to the car.

We were on a winter break and went here on a very dull and windy day.
We haven’t been here for a few years but have visited previously.
Some shops had gone but new ones had replaced them.
Definetly bargains to be found here.I would definitely return when I am next in the area.

There isn't a great deal to see here to be honest but I guess that depends on what you want to buy anyway. Just down the A39 a few miles outside Bideford there is large Asda, a reasonable selection of other stores selling various items (listed on their website) with a few coffee shops and eateries. I have been to better outlets to be honest, but like I said, I guess it depends on what you want to buy.

Not been to this Outlet for some time, the last time I went it was called the Atlantic village and their were more empty units than ones with than shops in.
This time i walked into a refreshed and comfortable venue, their are food options available at one end of the outlets and Asda is at the other end.
I counted two empty units which if they could fill would be brilliant.
Not sure why Marks and Spenser are no longer at the outlets as they are perfectly paired as a partner for the area.
I managed to get a couple of bargains in Weird Fish which was a bonus.
We usually try and go to America each year and always visit the outlets there, this outlet actually made me feel like I was back in the USA it was very clean and had a wonderful smell of freshness.

Dear glassmen007,
Thank you for your lovely review on our centre. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your recent visit and have seen improvements since we rebranded back in 2018.
With regards to Marks & Spencer, unfortunately our store was one of 110 to be closed by the retailer in 2019.
We will pass on your kind comments regarding the cleanliness to our Cleaning Team, who work incredibly hard to maintain high cleaning standards across the centre.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the centre again soon.
Kind regards,

We pop by when in the area and have an hour to spare, as it is small compared to other outlets. The shops have changed to be more clothes and shoe orientated, but at least they are all occupied. The M&S went years ago, now a Next, but Cadbury has gone yet there are plenty of shops. Toilets are ample and very clean. Also two cafes. Ample, free parking is shared with Asda. Brown tourist signs still direct you to 'Atlantic Village'. Worth a look if you are passing or good if it's raining!

Hi there, thank you for leaving us a review.
We're pleased to read that you had a good time visiting the Centre.
Unfortunately, we do not own the 'Atlantic Village' tourist sign displayed by the Centre. We would be delighted to have this sign either replaced or removed but sadly it's out of our control.
We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Not far, out of the hotel turning left towards the roundabout then take the third exit and up the dual carriage way for about 5 miles, take the first exit on the roundabout and you will see it on the right after about 3/4 of a mile.
